Alpha blockers are used for high blood pressure and for urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate. The combination is not always ruled out, but it needs careful clinical judgement, since the combined effect on blood pressure can be more pronounced than either medicine alone.

It is easy to miss without a full medicines list, because alpha blockers are prescribed for several different conditions and are not always front of mind when thinking about erectile dysfunction treatment.

Other PDE5 Inhibitors
