Payment Policy

At EveryDayMeds, we are committed to providing a safe, secure, and transparent payment process for all our customers. This Payment Policy outlines the methods of payment we accept, how and when payments are taken, our approach to fraud prevention, and your responsibilities as a customer.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We currently accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit Cards – Visa, Mastercard, American Express

  • Debit Cards – Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro

  • PayPal – for customers who prefer to pay through their PayPal account

No other payment methods (such as cash on delivery, cheques, Apple Pay, or Google Pay) are accepted.

2. Payment Processing

  • Full payment is required at the time of placing your order.

  • Orders will not be processed or dispatched until payment has cleared successfully.

  • If your payment is unsuccessful, your order will be automatically cancelled, and you will be notified.

  • We do not store your card details. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI DSS-compliant payment gateways.

3. Pricing, Currency & VAT

  • All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP £).

  • Prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable under UK law.

  • VAT invoices are available on request; please contact our Customer Service team.

  • Prices may change at any time, but such changes will not affect confirmed orders already paid in full.

4. Order Confirmation & Receipts

  • Once your payment has been authorised, you will receive an order confirmation email containing a summary of your purchase.

  • A payment receipt will be automatically issued via your chosen payment provider.

  • If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or contact Customer Service.

5. Refunds & Reversals

  • Refunds can only be made to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • Once approved, refunds are processed within 2 working days by us, but may take 5–10 working days to appear in your account, depending on your card issuer or PayPal.

  • Refunds are subject to our [Returns & Refunds Policy], which sets out eligibility criteria.

6. Failed or Disputed Payments

  • If your bank or payment provider declines or reverses a payment, your order will be cancelled, and you may be liable for any associated fees.

  • In the event of a chargeback, we reserve the right to dispute the claim and provide evidence to your payment provider.

7. Fraud Prevention & Security Checks

  • For your protection and ours, we may carry out additional verification checks on orders.

  • This may include verifying billing details, delivery addresses, or requesting proof of ID.

  • Orders suspected of fraudulent activity may be cancelled, and the information may be passed to law enforcement or fraud prevention agencies.

8. Customer Responsibilities

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are the authorised cardholder or PayPal account holder.

  • The payment details you provide are accurate, valid, and complete.

  • You are responsible for any fees charged by your card issuer, bank, or PayPal for currency conversion, overdrafts, or international usage (if applicable).

9. Our Liability

  • We cannot be held responsible for delays in order processing caused by payment authorisation failures.

  • We are not liable for any charges applied by your bank or payment provider beyond the cost of the product and shipping stated at checkout.

  • While we use secure payment systems, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party payment services (e.g., PayPal).
