Delivery Policy
Last updated: August 2026
EveryDayMeds is a GPhC registered distance selling pharmacy (registration 9012878). We are committed to delivering every medicine and product securely, discreetly and on time, in line with our obligations as a registered pharmacy.
This policy explains how our delivery services work, when your order will be dispatched, what each service costs, and what happens if something goes wrong. It applies to all orders placed through everydaymeds.co.uk.
1. Summary of our delivery service
| Service | Cost | Cut off | Delivery |
|---|---|---|---|
| DPD Next Working Day (standard on all orders) | Free | 3:00pm, Mon to Fri | Next working day after dispatch |
| DPD Saturday Delivery | £14.99 | 3:00pm Friday | Saturday |
| Royal Mail Tracked 24 (automatic substitute where DPD is unavailable) | Free | 3:00pm, Mon to Fri | Next working day after dispatch |
Order and complete your consultation before 3:00pm on a working day and, subject to clinical approval, your order is reviewed the same day, dispatched the same day, and delivered the next working day.
There is no separate charge for delivery on any standard order. Saturday delivery is the only paid upgrade.
2. Delivery areas
We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
We do not deliver to:
- The Republic of Ireland
- The Channel Islands (Jersey and Guernsey)
- The Isle of Man
- BFPO addresses
- Any address outside the UK
We are unable to forward or arrange onward international shipping of any order.
Address type restrictions. For prescription only medicines we deliver to residential and business addresses. We cannot deliver prescription items to PO Box addresses, unattended parcel lockers selected at checkout, or hotels and other temporary accommodation, because a signature from a named recipient is required.
3. When your order is dispatched
3.1 Clinical approval comes first
EveryDayMeds is a pharmacy, not a general retailer. No prescription item is dispatched until a prescriber has reviewed and approved your consultation. This is a legal and professional requirement and cannot be bypassed, expedited by paying for a faster delivery service, or waived at your request.
All delivery timeframes on this page run from the point of clinical approval, not from the point of payment.
3.2 Same day review and same day dispatch
For orders placed before 3:00pm Monday to Friday, where your consultation is complete and no further clinical information is required:
- Your consultation is reviewed by our prescribing team the same working day.
- Your order is picked, checked by a pharmacist and dispatched the same working day.
- Your parcel is delivered by DPD on the next working day.
Same day review is subject to your consultation being fully complete. We cannot review your order if any of the following are outstanding:
- Identity verification (Yoti) not completed
- Video BMI verification not completed, where required for your treatment
- Photographic evidence of prior treatment, where required for a dose above the starter dose or after a treatment gap
- Unanswered or inconsistent answers in your consultation
- A clarification request from the prescriber that you have not yet responded to
Where any of the above applies, the clock starts when the outstanding item is received, not when you placed the order.
3.3 Orders placed after the cut off
Orders completed after 3:00pm are reviewed and dispatched on the next working day.
Dispatch schedule
| Day | Cut off | Dispatch |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | 3:00pm | Same day |
| Tuesday | 3:00pm | Same day |
| Wednesday | 3:00pm | Same day |
| Thursday | 3:00pm | Same day |
| Friday | 3:00pm | Same day |
| Saturday | No dispatch | Next working day |
| Sunday | No dispatch | Next working day |
We do not dispatch on Saturdays, Sundays or English public and bank holidays.
3.4 What "next working day" means
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
- An order approved and dispatched on Monday is delivered on Tuesday.
- An order approved and dispatched on Friday is delivered on Monday, unless you have paid for Saturday delivery.
- An order approved and dispatched on the working day before a bank holiday is delivered on the next working day after that bank holiday.
3.5 Bank holidays
Around bank holidays, dispatch and delivery are both affected. We publish adjusted cut off times on our website and by email in the week preceding each bank holiday. Scottish and Northern Irish bank holidays may affect DPD's local delivery operations even where our Leicester dispatch site is open.
4. Saturday delivery
DPD Saturday Delivery costs £14.99.
To receive your order on Saturday, your order must be approved before 3:00pm on the Friday. It is then dispatched on Friday for Saturday delivery.
If your Saturday order misses the Friday cut off, it will not automatically convert to a standard next working day service. It will be held and dispatched on the following Friday for delivery the following Saturday.
If you have missed the cut off and would prefer standard next working day delivery instead, contact our Patient Care Team and we will change the service and refund the £14.99 upgrade.
Saturday delivery is not available in all postcode areas. Where DPD does not offer a Saturday service to your address, the upgrade will not be offered at checkout, or will be refunded and downgraded to the standard service if selected in error.
5. Weight loss injectables and other cold chain items
Injectable weight loss treatments including Mounjaro and Wegovy are temperature sensitive and are handled under a controlled cold chain process.
- These items are packed with appropriate insulated packaging and coolant to maintain the required temperature range in transit.
- Cold chain items are dispatched on a next working day service only. They are never sent on an economy or 48 hour service.
- Cold chain items are not dispatched on a Friday for Monday delivery unless the pack validation supports the extended transit period. Where it does not, your order is held and dispatched on the next Monday to Thursday working day, so that the parcel is not in transit over a weekend.
- On arrival, refrigerate your pen as directed in the patient information leaflet.
If your cold chain parcel arrives warm, with the coolant fully melted, or shows any sign of temperature damage, do not use it. Contact our Patient Care Team with photographs of the parcel and its contents before use.
6. Couriers and postcode coverage
6.1 DPD
DPD is our primary courier. DPD parcels are:
- Tracked at every stage
- Delivered against a one hour delivery window notified to you by text and email on the morning of delivery
- Delivered on a signature required basis for all prescription items
6.2 Royal Mail substitution
DPD does not serve every UK postcode. If your delivery address falls in an area DPD does not cover, your order is automatically sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 with signature at no additional cost. You do not need to take any action and you will not be charged extra.
DPD is generally unavailable to the following postcode areas:
- AB31 to AB35 and AB41 to AB54 (Aberdeen)
- AB36 to AB38 and AB55 to AB56 (Northern Highlands)
- FK17 to FK21, KA28, PA20 to PA78, PH30 to PH31, PH34 to PH44, PH49 to PH50 (Argyll)
- HS1 to HS9, IV1 to IV63, KW0 to KW14, PH19 to PH29, PH32 to PH33, PH45 to PH48 (Northern Highlands)
- KA27 (Arran)
- KW15 to KW17, ZE1 to ZE3 (Orkney and Shetland)
- PH15 to PH18 (Highland Perthshire)
- PO30 to PO41 (Isle of Wight)
- TR21 to TR25 (Isles of Scilly)
- BT postcodes (Northern Ireland)
Delivery to these areas may take longer than one working day. Where transit time is extended, cold chain orders are packed to a specification appropriate to the longer journey.
We may also substitute Royal Mail where DPD reports a local service suspension, for example due to severe weather or a depot incident.
7. Tracking
You will receive:
- An order confirmation email when you place your order.
- An approval confirmation when your prescriber approves the order.
- A dispatch notification with your tracking number and a link to the courier's tracking page.
- Courier notifications direct from DPD or Royal Mail on the day of delivery.
Please check your spam or junk folder if you have not received these. Tracking information can take up to two hours from dispatch to become active on the courier's system.
8. Delivery day: what to expect
8.1 Signature
All prescription medicines are sent on a signature required service. Someone aged 18 or over must be present at the address to sign for the parcel.
8.2 Requesting a specific time
We cannot request a morning, afternoon or evening delivery slot. Delivery routing is controlled entirely by the courier. DPD will notify you of your one hour window on the day and, from that notification, you can usually change the delivery day, redirect to a neighbour, or redirect to a pick up point yourself.
8.3 If you are not at home
The courier will leave a card or send a notification with your options. Depending on the courier and the item:
- DPD: reschedule for another day, redirect to a DPD Pickup shop or locker, or nominate a neighbour. Safe place delivery is not available for signature required prescription items.
- Royal Mail: arrange redelivery or collect from your local delivery office.
If a parcel is not collected or redelivered within the courier's holding period, it will be returned to us. See section 12 for what happens next.
8.4 Collecting from a DPD Pickup locker
If you redirect your parcel to a DPD Pickup locker, DPD will email you a QR code once the parcel is available. Scan the QR code at the locker to release your parcel. Lockers hold parcels for a limited period, after which the parcel is returned to us.
Please note that lockers cannot capture a signature, so this option is not available for all prescription items.
9. Changing your delivery address
Contact our Patient Care Team as soon as possible if you need to change your address.
- Before dispatch: we can usually update the address, provided the new address is within our delivery area. Address changes may require re-verification and can delay approval or dispatch.
- After dispatch: we cannot change the address. You may be able to redirect the parcel yourself using the courier's tracking link, subject to the courier's rules for signature required items.
For safety and record keeping reasons, the delivery address must be one you have access to. We cannot deliver a prescription medicine to a third party who is not the patient without a recorded reason and the patient's consent.
10. Delays
If your parcel is delayed by the courier, please allow 48 hours from the expected delivery date for the courier to resolve it. Most delays clear within this period.
If your parcel has still not arrived after 48 hours, contact our Patient Care Team and we will open an investigation with the courier and advise on next steps.
We are not liable for delays caused by:
- Courier service failures, network disruption or depot incidents
- Severe weather, industrial action or other events outside our reasonable control
- Incorrect, incomplete or out of date address details supplied by you
- Failure to respond to a clinical clarification request from our prescribing team
- Failure to complete identity or BMI verification
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
11. Parcels delivered to the wrong address, or stolen
If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you have not received it:
- Check with household members and immediate neighbours, and look for a card or photograph of the delivery on the tracking page.
- Contact the courier directly. They hold the GPS data, delivery photograph and driver record, and they are the only party able to investigate the delivery itself.
- Send us the courier's reference number and any correspondence.
We will then work with the courier on your behalf and advise on a replacement or refund. Where a claim is declined by the courier and the evidence shows the parcel was correctly delivered, we may be unable to replace the order free of charge.
12. Lost, damaged and returned parcels
12.1 Damaged parcels
Do not use any medicine that arrives in damaged packaging. Contact our Patient Care Team with photographs of the outer packaging, the inner packaging and the product itself. We will assess the damage and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
12.2 Lost parcels
Contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date if your parcel has not arrived. We will raise a claim with the courier. Courier claim windows are time limited, so we may be unable to pursue a claim raised late.
12.3 Parcels returned to us
If a parcel is returned to us undelivered, we will contact you. Because medicines that have left our control cannot be verified as having been stored correctly, returned medicines cannot be re-dispatched or resold and must be destroyed under our waste medicines procedure.
- Where the return is our error or a courier failure, we will replace or refund your order in full.
- Where the return results from an incorrect address, a failure to collect within the courier's holding period, or repeated failed delivery attempts, a redelivery will require a new order and a new charge.
12.4 Refunds
Where a refund is due, it is issued to the original payment method within 5 to 10 working days of approval. Delivery upgrade charges are refunded in full where the upgraded service was not provided.
Medicines are exempt from the standard 14 day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once dispatched, on the grounds of health protection and hygiene. This does not affect your rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied items.
13. Packaging and discretion
Every order is sent in plain, unbranded outer packaging. Your parcel will not display:
- The name of any medicine or product inside
- Any pharmacy branding, logo or clinical wording
- Any description of the contents
In addition:
- Prescription items are sealed with tamper evident seals
- The sender details show only a generic return address
- Courier notifications from DPD and Royal Mail show only a business name, not the contents
If a parcel arrives with a broken or missing tamper evident seal, do not use the contents and contact us immediately.
14. Your responsibilities
To help us deliver safely and on time, please:
- Provide a full and accurate delivery address, including flat or unit number and any access instructions
- Provide a working mobile number and email address so the courier can notify you
- Complete your consultation, identity verification and any requested evidence promptly
- Ensure someone aged 18 or over is available to sign
- Store your medicine as directed as soon as it arrives, particularly refrigerated items
