In this guide

01 · The facts

What changed in September

Eli Lilly announced the increase on 14 August 2025, effective 1 September 2025. Pharmacy sell prices differ because of confidential discounts, so the list price is not what every provider charges.

For the full picture see our complete new price guide or the new price list.

02 · Today

What you pay now

The Mounjaro pen costs £169.99 per month at 2.5mg and £329.99 at 15mg at standard prices. New customers save £40 on their first order at any dose with code FIRST40, including people switching from another provider at a higher dose. An automatic £25 reorder discount applies to every future order (code DOSE25).

PlanStandard cost
First year staying on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen (13 pens)£2,711.88
First year stepping up through every dose to 15mg (13 pens)£3,599.88

These totals are before discounts: a first order is £40 less and every later order £25 less. Across the UK pharmacies we track, the smallest gap between providers for the same dose is £27 and the largest £41 (checked 11 October 2026). Our Mounjaro discount code page lists current values.

03 · Ordering

How ordering works

Start a free online consultation: a short health questionnaire with no charge and no obligation. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full. We dispatch the same day when ordered by 3pm, with free next-day tracked delivery in temperature-controlled packaging. Supply is official LillyDirect stock, sourced directly from Eli Lilly.

04 · NHS and private

NHS or private after the increase

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.46 Full rollout is expected to take years, so many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment. See why Mounjaro prices are rising.

05 · Avoiding fakes

Avoid fake pens when prices rise

The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK, and some falsified pens contained insulin rather than tirzepatide.7 Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register, never from social media, beauty salons or unverified websites.12 Genuine pens have a batch number and expiry date and the solution is clear and colourless. Compare the new pen vs old.

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Start your free consultation

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
When did Mounjaro prices go up in September?
Eli Lilly's UK list-price increase took effect on 1 September 2025, after an announcement on 14 August 2025. Sell prices vary by pharmacy because of confidential discounts.10
Can diabetics get Mounjaro on the NHS?
Mounjaro is licensed for type 2 diabetes, and NICE has a separate appraisal for that use.8 NHS access for weight management is being phased in over several years, beginning in June 2025 with the highest-need groups. Ask your GP or diabetes team what applies to you.
Will Mounjaro be free for NHS patients in the UK in 2026?
Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is phased over several years. The primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions. Full rollout is expected to take years, so eligibility depends on your group.6
What drugs should not be taken with Mounjaro?
Tell your prescriber about every medicine you take. Mounjaro slows stomach emptying, which can reduce how well oral contraceptive pills are absorbed.7 The SmPC advises switching to a non-oral method, or adding a barrier method (such as condoms), for 4 weeks after starting Mounjaro and for 4 weeks after each dose increase.1 Insulin and sulfonylureas may need dose adjustments to avoid low blood sugar. Your prescriber reviews your current medicines before treatment.1
Can I eat bananas while taking Mounjaro?
No food is banned on Mounjaro, including bananas. Mounjaro is used alongside a reduced-calorie diet, and individual food choices are best discussed with your prescriber or the monthly review team, who can tailor advice to you.1
How can I pay less for Mounjaro after the increase?
New customers save £40 on their first order with code FIRST40, and an automatic £25 reorder discount applies to every future order (code DOSE25). Klarna and pay-monthly options are available, with no subscription.
