02 · Choosing
Which one is easiest to get?
No medicine on this list is available without an assessment, so none is "easy" to get in the sense of skipping a consultation. Anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription is not operating safely.
Our free online consultation is reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full. If approved, the Mounjaro pen costs £169.99 for the first 2.5mg pen at the standard price. New customers save £40 on their first order with code FIRST40, and an automatic £25 reorder discount applies to every future order (code DOSE25). All six doses are in stock.
Other treatments are collected under all weight loss treatments. Our Mounjaro comes via official LillyDirect supply, and delivery is free next-day tracked, with same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm.
03 · Mounjaro in detail
What Mounjaro is and how it works
Mounjaro is the brand name for tirzepatide, a once-weekly injectable made by Eli Lilly. It is licensed in the UK for weight management in adults and for type 2 diabetes.1 It activates two gut-hormone receptors, GIP and GLP-1, which help regulate appetite and slow stomach emptying.1
In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people on tirzepatide with diet and exercise lost on average 15% of body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, versus 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone. These are trial averages and individual results vary.2 For someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg.
04 · Who is eligible
Who can be prescribed weight loss medication
Mounjaro is licensed for adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.1
On the NHS, access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus a weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first.46 Many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than wait. Mounjaro must not be used during pregnancy, and it should be stopped at least one month before trying to conceive. If you become pregnant during treatment, stop the medicine and tell your prescriber promptly.
05 · Diabetes medicines and weight
Diabetes medications and weight loss
Some diabetes medicines also affect weight. Mounjaro is licensed for type 2 diabetes, where it improves blood sugar control and supports weight loss. If you have diabetes, tell your prescriber and your usual diabetes team so care stays joined up.1 Read more on weight loss on diabetes medications.
Because Mounjaro slows stomach emptying, it can change how quickly some oral medicines are absorbed. Tell your prescriber about everything you take, especially warfarin, insulin or sulfonylureas, where doses may need reducing to avoid low blood sugar.1 Mounjaro slows stomach emptying, which can reduce how well oral contraceptive pills are absorbed. The SmPC advises switching to a non-oral method, or adding a barrier method (such as condoms), for 4 weeks after starting Mounjaro and for 4 weeks after each dose increase. This applies to the pill only — implants, coils and injections are unaffected.
06 · Safety and telehealth
Buying safely online
Only buy from a registered pharmacy. You can check ours (GPhC 9012878) on the GPhC register, and counterfeit alerts and the Yellow Card scheme are covered by the MHRA.7 See safe medications for weight loss and how telehealth prescribing works. Mounjaro is prescription-only, supplied after a consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. This page is information, not medical advice. Serious side effects are uncommon but need urgent attention. Seek immediate medical help for: severe, persistent stomach pain that may spread to your back, with or without vomiting (possible pancreatitis); pain in the upper right abdomen, fever or yellowing of skin/eyes (possible gallbladder problems); or signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face or throat and difficulty breathing.
How ordering works
How ordering works at EverydayMeds
Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.
Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes
Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.
Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day
A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.
Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery
Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.
Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.
Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.
