In this guide

01 · Our prices

What EverydayMeds charges

Our standard price for the 2.5mg starter pen is £169.99 per month, rising to £189.99 at 5mg, £244.99 at 7.5mg and £274.99 at 10mg. The 12.5mg pen is £289.99 and the 15mg pen is £299.99. All six doses are in stock, and they come straight from official LillyDirect supply.

New customers get £40 off their first order at any dose with code FIRST40. That means your first 2.5mg pen costs £129.99 (standard price £169.99). If you are switching to us from another provider at a higher dose, the same logic applies: your first 15mg order is £259.99. After that, every later order is £25 off the standard price (code DOSE25). The Mounjaro discount code page explains how the codes work.

The consultation is free, and the price shown is the price paid with no hidden fees. Delivery is free and next-day in temperature-controlled packaging, with same-day dispatch when you order by 3pm. Saturday delivery is £14.99. You can pay by Visa, Mastercard or Klarna, with pay-monthly options and no subscription lock-in.

02 · Planning

Compare the first year, not just the first pen

A cheap starting pen tells you little, because Mounjaro is dose-stepped and most people spend months on higher strengths. If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £879.96 at standard prices. A first year (13 pens) costs £2,399.88 if you stay on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen, up to £3,279.88 if you step up through every dose to 15mg. These totals are before discounts: a new customer's first order is £40 less and every later order £25 less.

StagePensCost at standard prices
First year, staying on 5mg after the 2.5mg starting pen13£2,399.88
First year, stepping up through every dose to 15mg13£3,279.88

If you settle at 7.5mg, 10mg or 12.5mg, work from the monthly price instead: £244.99, £274.99 or £289.99 per pen.

03 · Using the checker properly

How to compare Mounjaro prices like for like

Compare the same dose, the same pack size and the total you actually pay. Mounjaro comes as a KwikPen in six strengths: 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg and 15mg.1 Each pen is one month of weekly doses, so a monthly figure is the fair unit.

  • Match the strength. A “from” price almost always refers to the 2.5mg starter. Check the dose you will be on in month three or four.
  • Check the date. Prices move. Our index was last checked 25 October 2026, and we show that date so you can judge how current it is.
  • Add delivery and fees. Ask whether a consultation fee or delivery charge is added at checkout. With us the consultation is free and next-day delivery is free.
  • Look at repeat pricing. A low first-order price can hide a higher price on later orders. Compare both.
  • Verify the pharmacy. A low price from an unverifiable seller is not a saving.

If you want to see how the market moved before you decide, our Mounjaro price history page covers the past changes, and our monthly cost checker lets you work out your own running total.

04 · Cheapest way to get it

What is the cheapest way to get Mounjaro?

The lowest-cost legitimate route is to compare like for like across verified pharmacies and use any genuine new-customer and reorder discounts. Cost-cutting shortcuts that involve the pen itself are not safe.

RouteWhat it means for costSafety position
Regulated online or high street pharmacyPrices vary by provider and dose; compare the monthly price for your strengthPrescriber-reviewed, genuine supply, batch and expiry on every pen
NHS prescriptionThe prescription charge is £9.90 in England where it applies; access is limited by eligibilityPrescribed through NHS pathways
Social media, beauty salons, unverified sitesOften priced low enough to be suspiciousNot safe; falsified pens have been seized

On the NHS: Mounjaro is available, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.46 Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting.

The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK and has issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were identified. Some fakes have caused hospitalisations, and some contained insulin rather than tirzepatide.7 Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register,12 and be wary of anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription.

05 · Will prices fall?

What will the new price of Mounjaro be, and will it come down?

Our Mounjaro price increase guide covers what the change meant for monthly costs, while the price spike and price war pages cover how providers reacted. Rather than waiting for a fall that may or may not come, a practical approach is to price your first year now, use the discounts available, and re-check prices before each reorder. We date every check so you can see whether the picture has changed.

06 · What the treatment delivers

What you are paying for

Price only makes sense next to what the medicine does and what it needs from you. In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone.2 These are trial averages and individual results vary. Treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, not instead of them.

As a worked example only, for someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg. Trial averages do not predict your own result.

Tirzepatide activates two natural gut-hormone receptors at once, GIP and GLP-1, which help regulate appetite, slow how quickly the stomach empties and improve the way the body responds to insulin.1 Most people feel fuller sooner and less hungry between meals, which supports a reduced-calorie diet.

07 · Who it is licensed for

Who can buy Mounjaro privately?

Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes.1 It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. A prescriber will assess your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding whether it is suitable for you.

That is why a price alone never completes a purchase: it is a prescription-only medicine, supplied only after an online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.

08 · Checking a pen is genuine

How to check your pen is genuine and still good

A genuine UK Mounjaro pen comes from a registered pharmacy with a batch number and expiry date, arrives cold-chain packaged, and the solution inside is clear and colourless.13 Genuine UK stock is supplied through Lilly's official distribution to licensed pharmacies, and every pen carries a batch number and expiry date that can be checked.

Do not use a pen that has been frozen, looks cloudy or discoloured, has particles in it, is past its expiry, has been above 30°C, or has been kept out of the fridge for more than 30 days in use. If supply or packaging ever seems wrong, check the pharmacy on the GPhC register and contact the pharmacy before injecting. Report any suspected fake or side effect through the MHRA Yellow Card scheme.7

09 · How ordering works

How to order from EverydayMeds

Ordering takes three steps; payment is taken when you place the order, and if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.

  • Start a free consultation. Complete a short health questionnaire online, with no charge and no obligation. Start your free consultation when you are ready.
  • Prescriber review. A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews your answers, not a scoring script. Unsuitable orders are refunded automatically.
  • Dispatch and delivery. Our registered pharmacy dispenses your pen, with same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm and free next-day tracked delivery in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging. Needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance are included.

Once you are on treatment, our team provides monthly reviews, dose-titration and side-effect support. Repeat orders re-check suitability, and nothing ships automatically. Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, by email at support@everydaymeds.co.uk, through your account chat or on 0333 207 0413. You can also browse all weight loss treatments if you are still comparing options, and the free GLPTrackr app helps you track your progress.

Prescription medicines cannot be returned once dispensed, except for a faulty, damaged or wrong item reported within 3 days. Refunds take 5 to 10 working days.

This page is information, not a substitute for medical advice. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, and individual results vary.

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Start your free consultation

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
Who has the cheapest Mounjaro price?
It depends on the dose and the day. Across the UK pharmacies we track, pens run from £143.96 to £319.99 a month, and for the same dose providers differ by £20 to £36.03. Compare the same strength, include delivery and fees, and check the date of the price. We checked this index on 25 October 2026.
What is the cheapest way to get Mounjaro?
Compare monthly prices for your exact dose across GPhC-registered pharmacies and use any genuine first-order and reorder discounts.
How much does Mounjaro cost at Lloyds, Tesco, Asda or Morrisons?
Check each pharmacy's own website or ask in branch for your dose, and ask about consultation fees, delivery and repeat pricing. Compare their answers with the range of £143.96 to £319.99 a month across the UK pharmacies we track.
What will the new price of Mounjaro be in the UK?
We cannot predict future prices. Eli Lilly raised the UK list price in September 2025, and pharmacy prices have varied since. The current range across the UK pharmacies we track is £143.96 to £319.99 a month, checked 25 October 2026. Our price history and price increase pages show how it has moved.
Will Mounjaro come down in price in the UK in 2026?
No one can say for certain, and we do not forecast. What you can do is price your first year now: £2,399.88 if you stay on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen, up to £3,279.88 if you step up through every dose to 15mg, at our standard prices before discounts. Re-check prices before each reorder, because we date every price check.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
With us, yes. The consultation is free, delivery is free next-day tracked, and the price shown is the price paid with no hidden fees. Saturday delivery is £14.99 if you choose it. Always check that any pharmacy you compare shows the same all-in total at checkout.
Is cheap Mounjaro from social media safe?
No. The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens and issued alerts about falsified Mounjaro, and some fakes contained insulin rather than tirzepatide. Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register, and be wary of anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription.
Can I get Mounjaro on the NHS instead?
Yes, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first. Many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting.
