A quick overview

What to know
before you start.

  • Check the GPhC register first: EverydayMeds is registered as 9012878, and you can verify any UK online pharmacy the same way.
  • A rating tells you about service, not safety. Look for prescriber review, genuine supply and ongoing follow-up.
  • Compare the full cost of treatment, not the headline starting price: across the UK pharmacies we track, 2.5mg pens range from £143.96 to £179.99.
  • Mounjaro works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and more activity; trial averages do not predict your own result.
  • NHS access is being phased in over several years, so many eligible adults consider regulated private treatment.

01 · Choosing a clinic

How to choose a top rated online weight loss clinic

Choose a clinic on regulation, clinical process and transparent cost, then use reviews as a secondary check. A high star rating can come from fast delivery or friendly emails while saying nothing about whether prescribing is safe. For a prescription-only medicine such as Mounjaro, the clinical process is what protects you.

We are a GPhC-registered UK online pharmacy (registration 9012878), and you can confirm that on the GPhC public register.12 Do the same check for any provider you consider. If you cannot find a registration number, or the number does not match the business name, walk away.

Our wider guides cover the same ground from other angles, including top rated online weight loss clinics for GLP-1 medicines and medically supervised weight loss in the UK.

02 · How we compare

What EverydayMeds offers, and what it costs

Our service is built around a free consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber, not a scoring script. The consultation is free and the price shown is the price paid, with no hidden fees. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.

Four points matter most when you compare us with other providers:

  • Official LillyDirect supply. Mounjaro comes direct from Eli Lilly's UK distribution, as genuine KwikPens. All six doses (2.5mg to 15mg) are in stock.
  • Free next-day tracked delivery in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging, with same-day dispatch when you order by 3pm. Saturday delivery is £14.99.
  • Ongoing monthly reviews with dose titration, follow-up assessments and side-effect support from the prescribing team.
  • Flexible payment. Visa, Mastercard, Klarna and pay-monthly options, with no subscription lock-in.

On price, your first 2.5mg Mounjaro pen is a first-order price of £129.99 with code FIRST40 (standard price £169.99). A new-customer discount applies to a first order at any dose, so someone switching to us at 15mg pays a first-order price of £289.99. After that, every later order is £25 off the standard price (code DOSE25). You can start your free consultation at any time with no obligation.

03 · Comparing cost

Comparing providers on cost fairly

Compare the same dose, the same supply route and the same follow-up, because a lower headline price can hide missing aftercare. Across the UK pharmacies we track (checked 10 October 2026), a Mounjaro pen costs between £143.96 and £339.00 at standard prices, depending on dose and provider. Starting 2.5mg pens range from £143.96 to £179.99, and for the same dose the gap between providers runs from £27 to £41.

Planning the whole course matters more than the first pen. At standard prices, if you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £959.96. If you stay on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen, a first year of 13 pens costs £2,711.88, up to £3,599.88 if you step up through every dose to 15mg. A new customer's first order is £40 less, and every later order is £25 less.

04 · Regulation and safety checks

Regulation and safety checks before you buy

The first safety check is whether the seller is a registered pharmacy and whether a prescriber reviews you before supply. The GPhC register is free to search and lists registered pharmacies by number. We hold registration 9012878.12

Counterfeit and unregulated weight-loss injections are a real risk, and the MHRA publishes counterfeit medicine alerts.7 Be cautious of social media sellers, unbranded pens and anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription. Genuine Mounjaro comes in a KwikPen in six strengths from Eli Lilly's UK supply chain; ours is sourced through official LillyDirect supply.

If you ever experience a side effect, you can report it through the MHRA Yellow Card scheme.19 Seek immediate medical help for severe, persistent stomach pain that may spread to your back, with or without vomiting (possible pancreatitis); pain in the upper right abdomen, fever or yellowing of skin/eyes (possible gallbladder problems); or signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face or throat and difficulty breathing. A good clinic will encourage you to report side effects and explain how, rather than discourage it.

05 · Who medical weight loss suits

Who medical weight loss treatment is for

Mounjaro is licensed for adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition. Those conditions include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.111

A prescriber will assess your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding whether it is suitable for you. A clinic that never says no is a warning sign. In our process, unsuitable orders are refunded automatically.

The NHS route

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition. The NHS primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.46 Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting. Your GP can tell you where you sit in your local pathway.

06 · What results to expect

What results to expect from treatment

In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone.2 These are trial averages and individual results vary. Treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, not instead of them.

To put that in concrete terms, for someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg. At 72 weeks, 85% of participants on 5mg, 89% on 10mg and 91% on 15mg had lost at least 5% of their body weight. Half of participants on 10mg and 57% on 15mg lost at least 20%.2

Be sceptical of any clinic that promises a specific amount of weight loss in a set number of weeks. Trial averages do not predict your own result, and a trustworthy provider will tell you so. You can read more in our guide to weight loss injections compared.

07 · How Mounjaro works

How Mounjaro works

Mounjaro is the brand name for tirzepatide, a once-weekly injectable prescription medicine made by Eli Lilly. In the UK it is licensed for weight management in adults and for type 2 diabetes, and it comes as a pre-filled multi-dose KwikPen in six strengths: 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg and 15mg.1

Tirzepatide is the first treatment of its kind to activate two natural gut-hormone receptors at once: GIP and GLP-1. Together these help regulate appetite, slow how quickly the stomach empties, and improve the way the body responds to insulin. Most people feel fuller sooner and less hungry between meals, which supports a reduced-calorie diet.1

It has a half-life of about five days, so after a final dose it takes roughly 4–5 weeks to clear the system. Nothing needs doing while it clears, and it cannot be sped up.1 Our weight loss medical clinic guide explains what monthly reviews involve.

08 · Apps, programmes and tablets

Apps, programmes and other options

Programmes and apps can support habits, but they are not the same thing as a prescribed medicine. The honest answer is that ratings differ by what each service does: a calorie-tracking app, a commercial group programme and a prescribing clinic are different products with different safety checks.

We offer a free companion app, GLPTrackr (iOS and Android), for tracking a GLP-1 journey. It does not prescribe anything; it helps you record doses and progress between reviews. If you are comparing treatment types, our overview of all weight loss treatments sets them side by side.

Other prescription options exist. Wegovy (semaglutide) is a once-weekly injection with a dose ladder of 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 1mg, 1.7mg and 2.4mg, stepping up after at least 4 weeks to the 2.4mg maintenance dose from week 17. Liraglutide (Saxenda and similar products) is a daily injection supplied at 6mg per millilitre. Your prescriber can explain which fits your history.

Appetite-suppressant products sold without a prescription are a separate category, and low-cost supplements come with no clinical oversight. Our guide to appetite suppressants covers how they differ from prescribed treatment.

09 · Boots, Lloyds and high street

Boots, Lloyds and other high street options

Boots offers Mounjaro through its online service, with dose prices across the UK pharmacies we track running from £179.00 to £339.00 per month (checked 10 October 2026). That range covers its lowest to highest dose, so your cost depends on where you settle.

Our guide to online medical weight loss shows how that comparison works across providers.

Whichever provider you choose, ask four questions: who reviews my order, where does the medicine come from, what happens at each reorder, and what does the full course cost?

10 · How ordering works

How ordering works with us

Ordering takes four steps.

  • 1. Free online consultation. A short health questionnaire with no charge and no obligation.
  • 2. Prescriber review. A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews it. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
  • 3. Dispensing and dispatch. Our registered pharmacy dispenses, with same-day dispatch when you order by 3pm.
  • 4. Delivery. Free next-day tracked delivery by DPD in temperature-controlled, discreet packaging. Saturday delivery is £14.99.

Needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance come with every order. Repeat orders re-check suitability, with no auto-shipping, and our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm by email (support@everydaymeds.co.uk), account portal chat or phone on 0333 207 0413. To begin, you can buy Mounjaro through our hub page. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, supplied only after an online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber, and individual results vary. This page is information, not a substitute for medical advice.

11 · Refunds and support

Refunds, returns and support

Declined consultations are refunded automatically in full, with refunds taking 5–10 working days. Because dispensed prescription medicines cannot be returned except where an item is faulty, damaged or wrong, contact us within 3 days if there is a problem with your delivery.

Over 100,000 customers have been supported on their weight loss journey with us. That figure reflects how many people we have served, not how well treatment works, so judge any clinic, including ours, on its process rather than its volume. Our aftercare includes ongoing monthly reviews, dose titration, follow-up assessments and side-effect support from the prescribing team.

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Start your free consultation

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
What is the best online program for weight loss in the UK?
No single programme suits everyone, so judge on regulation and process. For prescription treatment, look for a GPhC-registered pharmacy, prescriber review of every order, genuine supply and monthly follow-up. Lifestyle programmes and apps can support habits but are not a substitute for medical assessment if you are considering medicine such as Mounjaro.
Which weight loss company is best in the UK?
No single company suits everyone, and star ratings do not measure clinical safety. Check the GPhC register, confirm a prescriber reviews each order, ask where the medicine is sourced and compare total course cost. We are GPhC registered (9012878), and you can verify that independently on the public register.
What is the highest rated weight loss program?
Ratings vary by what is measured, such as delivery speed, support or price, and they rarely reflect clinical quality. A more reliable test is whether the provider is regulated, has a qualified prescriber review you, and re-checks suitability at every reorder. Treat reviews as a secondary signal after those checks.
What are the NHS-approved weight loss apps?
Apps can support food and activity tracking, but they do not prescribe. Our free GLPTrackr app tracks a GLP-1 journey and is separate from NHS services.
How to lose 2 stone in 12 weeks on the NHS?
Results vary, and no trial supports a loss target in a set number of weeks. NHS access to Mounjaro is being phased in over several years, with the highest-need groups first. Ask your GP about your local weight management pathway, and note that trial results for Mounjaro ran over 72 weeks.
Can I get Mounjaro from Boots in the UK?
Yes, Boots offers Mounjaro, with dose prices across the UK pharmacies we track running from £179.00 to £339.00 per month, checked 10 October 2026. You still need a consultation reviewed by a prescriber.
How much does Mounjaro cost at Lloyds Pharmacy?
Check Lloyds' own page on the day you order. For context, across the UK pharmacies we track a Mounjaro pen costs between £143.96 and £339.00 per month depending on dose and provider.
How to lose 2 stone in 10 weeks?
No trial supports a week-by-week target, and results vary. In SURMOUNT-1, average losses were measured over 72 weeks alongside diet and exercise, and individual results vary. A prescriber can discuss realistic goals and whether treatment suits you.
