What three months usually looks like

Each pen holds four weekly doses, so three months is roughly three pens, and they are normally different strengths.¹ The licensed ladder starts at 2.5mg, goes to 5mg after at least 4 weeks, then steps up by 2.5mg at minimum 4-week intervals.¹

03 · Ordering

How ordering works

Ordering takes three steps. First, complete the free online consultation, which is reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. Second, payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full. 04 · Staying on 2.5mg

Can you stay on 2.5mg for three months?

The starting dose is about letting your body adjust, not about weight loss itself.¹ After at least 4 weeks the dose increases to 5mg, depending on how you respond and tolerate it; if a new dose is hard to tolerate, your prescriber can hold the current dose longer before stepping up.

How much weight can you lose in 3 months?

A sensible 3-month expectation on a standard titration is mid single digits as a percentage of body weight, with wide individual variation.² In SURMOUNT-1, average loss built month by month, with the 15–21% averages measured at 72 weeks, not 12. Individual results vary.²

The first weeks on 2.5mg are an adjustment phase, and losses are usually modest. Most measurable progress builds from 5mg onward. Judge progress by trend, not individual weigh-ins.¹

06 · Early weeks

What is normal in the first weeks

Some people notice appetite change and early loss in week one; others feel little until a higher dose. Both are normal. Early loss includes water weight. Mild nausea, altered appetite and tiredness in the first days after each injection are the commonest early effects and usually settle.¹
