What a Mounjaro 15mg pen costs in the UK

The Mounjaro pen at 15mg costs £299.99 per month from us at the standard price. That is one KwikPen holding four weekly doses, or £75.00 per week.

New customers get £40 off their first order at any dose with code FIRST40, including people switching from another provider at 15mg. Your first 15mg order is therefore £259.99. After that, an automatic £25 reorder discount applies to every future order (code DOSE25), so each later pen is £25 off the standard price.

Other sites quote different 15mg figures, and the numbers shift as providers change their pricing. Treat any page that lists a single UK "price" without a date with caution. Ours were checked 25 October 2026.

02 · Checklist

What to check before you compare 15mg prices

A lower headline number is not always a lower total. Six things change what you actually pay and what you actually receive.

• Same dose, same pack. One pen is four weekly doses. Confirm you are comparing a 15mg KwikPen, not a different quantity.
• Consultation fees. Ours is free and the price shown is the price paid, with no hidden fees. Ask others whether a consultation or review fee is added at checkout.
• Delivery. We offer free next-day tracked delivery in temperature-controlled packaging. Saturday delivery is £14.99. Check what others charge and how they pack the pen.
• First-order versus repeat pricing. A promotional first price is not the price of month two. Ask for the repeat price before you commit.

What a year at 15mg costs

Nobody begins at 15mg. If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £879.96 at standard prices. A first year (13 pens) costs £2,399.88 if you stay on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen, up to £3,279.88 if you step up through every dose to 15mg.

Those totals are before discounts. A new customer's first order is £40 less, and every later order is £25 less. If you land on 12.5mg or 10mg, work from that dose's monthly price instead: £289.99 or £274.99.

Because pens are not auto-shipped and there is no subscription, you can reassess the dose each month. Klarna and pay-monthly options are available if spreading the cost helps.

04 · Is 15mg right for you?

Is 15mg the right dose for you?

15mg is the top licensed Mounjaro strength, not a target everyone has to reach. Everyone starts on 2.5mg once a week, a dose chosen to help your body adjust rather than to drive weight loss.¹ After at least 4 weeks the dose rises to 5mg, then steps up by 2.5mg at minimum 4-week intervals to a maximum of 15mg, depending on response and tolerability. Many people settle at 5mg, 10mg or 15mg. Higher is not automatically better, and your prescriber guides the pace.¹

In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone. These are trial averages and individual results vary.² For someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg.

At 72 weeks, 85% of participants on 5mg, 89% on 10mg and 91% on 15mg had lost at least 5% of their body weight. Half of participants on 10mg and 57% on 15mg lost at least 20%.² Treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, not instead of them. 05 · Counterfeit and safe buying

Why a low 15mg price must come from a verified pharmacy

Price comparison only makes sense between genuine pens. The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK and has issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were identified. Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, and some contained insulin rather than tirzepatide.⁷

Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register, never from social media, beauty salons or unverified websites. Genuine treatment always involves a prescription and a clinical consultation.¹² Be wary of anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription, however attractive the price.

A genuine UK pen comes from a registered pharmacy with a batch number and expiry date, arrives cold-chain packaged, and the solution inside is clear and colourless. Do not use a pen that has been frozen, looks cloudy or discoloured, has particles in it, is past its expiry, or has been above 30°C. An in-use pen must be thrown away after 30 days out of the fridge (not above 30°C).¹³ If supply or packaging ever seems wrong, check the pharmacy on the register and contact it before injecting. 06 · Saving money safely

Saving money on 15mg without taking risks

Each KwikPen is designed and licensed to deliver exactly four weekly doses. Use the pen as designed, then dispose of it.¹

Legitimate savings come from the new-customer discount on your first order, the £25 reorder discount, comparing pharmacies honestly, and not paying for extras you do not need.

07 · NHS versus private

NHS or private: what the honest picture is

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition. The NHS primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.⁴⁶ Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting.

Privately, the licence is wider. Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, and a prescriber assesses your BMI, history and medicines first.¹

If 15mg pricing is the sticking point, you may want to compare medicines rather than only pharmacies.
