GLP-1 Plotter: What the Tool Does and How Far to Trust It (October 2026)

A GLP-1 plotter is a free online calculator that draws an estimated graph of medicine levels in your body from the injection doses and dates you enter. It uses average half-life figures, so the curve is a rough population-level model, not a measurement of you. Your prescriber's instructions always take priority. Current as of October 2026.

A quick overview

What to know
before you start.

  • A GLP-1 plotter models estimated medicine levels from the doses and dates you enter; it does not measure your blood.
  • The graph rests on average half-life data, so your own curve will differ.
  • Offset-day settings shift the modelled timing of a dose; they are not a licensed way to change your schedule.
  • Never change a dose or timing because of a chart. Ask your prescriber.
  • Tracking real-world notes, such as appetite and side effects, is usually more useful than a modelled curve.
In this guide

01 · The core answer

What a GLP-1 plotter actually does

A plotter takes the medicine type, the dose and the injection dates you enter and applies a mathematical decay model to draw a line. The line rises after each injection and falls as the medicine is cleared. Where doses overlap, the model shows the levels building up and then levelling off.

The output is an estimate built from population averages. It cannot account for your body composition, your metabolism or how you absorb the injection. Treat it as a teaching diagram rather than a result.

02 · Your decision

Is a plotter relevant to you, and what should you do next?

A plotter is relevant if you are curious about why effects build gradually after starting or changing dose. It is not relevant for deciding whether to take, skip or move a dose. Those decisions belong to the prescriber who knows your history. Be wary of any site that presents its graph as clinical advice, and see our guide on whether GLP-1 claims are a con for how to judge online claims.

If you are not yet on treatment, the sensible next step is a consultation, not a graph. You can start with our weight loss clinic, or look at the Mounjaro pen.

03 · How the model works

How the model works

The model rests on one idea: half-life, the time it takes for the amount of medicine in the body to fall by half.

Because the half-life is long compared with the dosing interval, each injection adds to what is already present. A plotter shows this overlap clearly, which is why effects tend to build over the first few weeks rather than appearing at once. It is a useful picture, but the same average is applied to everyone.

04 · Offset days explained

What offset days means

In most plotters, an offset-days setting moves the modelled injection date earlier or later, or shifts a second injection relative to the first. It lets you see how a changed schedule would alter the curve on screen.

It does not tell you what is safe. Splitting doses, moving injection days repeatedly or adding extra injections are not schedules a chart can approve, and none of them is licensed. If you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you can within 4 days (96 hours) of the scheduled time. If more than 4 days have passed, skip the missed dose and take the next one on your normal day. You can change your injection day as long as at least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since your last dose. Contact your prescriber if you are unsure.

05 · Limits of plotter tools

Limits of plotter tools

Plotters are independent third-party websites. We do not operate them, and the quality of their formulas varies.

Three limits matter most. First, the curve is an average, not your own level. Second, no plotter measures blood concentration; a laboratory method would be needed for that, as described in our page on the GLP-1 assay. Third, a plotter says nothing about how well the treatment is working. Appetite, side effects and weight trend over time tell you far more.

Also check who runs any site you use and whether it is genuine. Our page on the official GLP-1 website covers how to tell reliable sources from imitations.

06 · Better ways to track

Better ways to track your treatment

A simple log is more useful than a modelled curve. Note your injection day, dose, appetite, any side effects and your weight trend. Our free companion app, GLPTrackr, is available for iOS and Android for this purpose.

Bring the log to your monthly review so the prescribing team can judge whether to continue, adjust or step down. If you notice a new symptom, tell your prescriber and consider reporting it through the Yellow Card scheme.19

Individual results vary.

07 · Serious side effects

Serious side effects: when to get help straight away

Serious side effects are uncommon but need urgent attention. Seek immediate medical help for: severe, persistent stomach pain that may spread to your back, with or without vomiting (possible pancreatitis); pain in the upper right abdomen, fever or yellowing of skin/eyes (possible gallbladder problems); or signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face or throat and difficulty breathing. If you take insulin or a sulfonylurea alongside Mounjaro, watch for low blood sugar (shakiness, sweating, confusion) — your prescriber may need to adjust those medicines.1

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Start your free consultation

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
What is a GLP-1 plotter?
A GLP-1 plotter is an online tool that draws an estimated graph of medicine levels from the doses and dates you enter. It applies average half-life data, so the result is an educational approximation, not a measurement of your own body. It cannot replace advice from your prescriber.
Is a GLP-1 plotter accurate?
It is accurate only as a rough average. The curve uses population half-life figures and ignores your metabolism, body composition and absorption. It is good for understanding how levels build up with repeated doses, but it should never be used to decide a dose, a delay or a change of schedule.
What does offset days mean on a GLP-1 plotter?
Offset days shifts the modelled date of an injection relative to another, so you can see how a different schedule would change the graph. It is a visual setting only. It does not mean any shifted schedule is licensed or safe. Ask your prescriber before changing injection timing.
Can I use a plotter to decide when to take my next dose?
No. Your dosing day comes from your prescriber and the patient leaflet. A plotter cannot account for missed doses, side effects or your own response. If you are unsure when to inject, contact the prescribing team rather than relying on a modelled chart.
How long does Mounjaro stay in your system?
Tirzepatide has a half-life of about five days, so after a final dose it takes roughly four to five weeks to clear the system. There is no way to speed this up, and nothing needs doing while it clears. A plotter can draw this, but your own timing may differ slightly.
Does EverydayMeds offer a GLP-1 plotter?
We do not run a plotter. We offer GLPTrackr, a free companion app for iOS and Android that helps you log your GLP-1 journey. For treatment questions, our prescribing team provides ongoing monthly reviews, dose-titration and side-effect support.
