What is the UK list price of GLP-1 drugs?
For Mounjaro, Eli Lilly announced a UK list-price increase on 14 August 2025, effective 1 September 2025. List prices rose from £92–£122 per month to £133–£330 per month depending on dose, an increase of up to 170% on the highest dose.10 Pharmacy sell prices vary because of confidential discounts.

What does Mounjaro cost per month with us?
One Mounjaro pen lasts four weeks. The standard price is £169.99 at 2.5mg, £218.99 at 5mg, £279.99 at 7.5mg, £290.99 at 10mg, £319.99 at 12.5mg and £329.99 at 15mg. All six doses are in stock.

04 · Who can get it
Eligibility and NHS access
Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 to 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It is used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.1
It is also available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus a weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first.46 Many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than wait.
05 · Cheap and fake pens
Why very cheap pens are a risk
The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK and issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were found. Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, and some contained insulin rather than tirzepatide.7 Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register12, never from social media or beauty salons. Genuine treatment always involves a prescription and a clinical consultation.
