A quick overview

What to know
before you start.

  • Klarna is an accepted payment method for Mounjaro at EverydayMeds, alongside cards and pay-monthly options.
  • Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
  • Klarna approval is decided by Klarna's own checks, not by our prescribers or the consultation.
  • There are no subscriptions, so each order is a separate decision and repeat orders re-check suitability.
  • Not every pharmacy accepts Klarna for prescription medicines, so check the payment methods before you start.
In this guide

01 · Payment

How Klarna works for a Mounjaro order

Klarna is a payment option at checkout, not a way around the prescription. You complete a free online consultation and a GPhC-registered prescriber reviews it; payment is taken when you place the order. If the prescriber decides Mounjaro is unsuitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.

Klarna runs its own eligibility and soft credit checks, so being approved for Mounjaro does not mean Klarna will accept you. If Klarna declines, you can pay by Visa or Mastercard instead, or use our pay-monthly options.

02 · Cost

What you are paying for

The Mounjaro pen is priced per four-week pen. Your first 2.5mg pen costs £129.99 with code FIRST40 (standard price £169.99). Every later order is £25 off the standard price, with code DOSE25. The consultation is free and the price shown is the price paid, with no hidden fees.

If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £959.96 at standard prices; a new customer's first order is £40 less and every later order £25 less. Instalments spread the cost but do not reduce it, so check Klarna's terms on any interest or late fees before you commit.

03 · Who can get Mounjaro

Who can get Mounjaro, however you pay

Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.1 A prescriber assesses your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding if it is suitable.

Mounjaro is also available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus a weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first.4 Many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment instead of waiting. See our weight loss clinic for more.

04 · What to expect

What to expect from treatment

In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone. These are trial averages and individual results vary.2 Treatment is a longer commitment than one pen, so consider whether instalments suit your budget over several months.

05 · Ordering steps

How ordering works

First, complete the free online consultation, a short health questionnaire with no obligation. Second, a GPhC-registered prescriber reviews it; payment by Klarna or card is taken when you place the order and is refunded automatically in full if the treatment is not suitable. Third, our registered pharmacy dispenses it, with same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm and free next-day tracked delivery in temperature-controlled packaging. Supply is official LillyDirect stock, and all six doses are in stock.

If you are ready, you can buy Mounjaro with Klarna or compare other ways to get it on Klarna.

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
Can I use Klarna for Mounjaro?
EverydayMeds accepts Klarna alongside Visa, Mastercard and pay-monthly options. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full. Klarna's own eligibility checks decide whether it is offered to you.
Can I use Mounjaro on Klarna if I am declined by Klarna?
Klarna's decision is separate from our prescriber's. If Klarna declines you, you can still pay by Visa or Mastercard, or use our pay-monthly options, provided the prescriber approves Mounjaro for you.
Do I need a prescription to pay with Klarna?
Mounjaro is prescription-only, so you cannot simply check out and pay. You complete a free online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber first. Payment is taken when you place the order, and if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
Does Klarna make Mounjaro cheaper?
No. Klarna spreads the cost into instalments but the price is the same. Your first 2.5mg pen costs £129.99 with code FIRST40 (standard £169.99), and later orders are £25 off the standard price. Check Klarna's terms for any fees.
Is there a subscription if I pay with Klarna?
No. There are no subscriptions at EverydayMeds. Each order is separate, and repeat orders re-check your suitability rather than shipping automatically, so you stay in control of when you order.
Do all UK pharmacies accept Klarna for Mounjaro?
No. Payment options vary by pharmacy, so check accepted methods before you start a consultation. At EverydayMeds, Klarna is available, and you can confirm current options at checkout. Make sure any pharmacy is on the GPhC register.
