In this guide

01 · What it costs

What does Mounjaro 7.5mg cost?

One Mounjaro 7.5mg pen costs £279.99 at our standard price, roughly £70.00 per week. The pen holds four weekly doses and the dose is in stock today.

New customers save £40 on their first order at any dose with code FIRST40, including people switching to us at 7.5mg from another provider. An automatic £25 reorder discount applies to every future order (code DOSE25). The price shown is the price paid, and the consultation is free.

02 · Comparing

How to compare Mounjaro 7.5mg prices

Compare the same dose, the same month and what is included. Across the UK pharmacies we track (checked 10 October 2026), the gap between providers for the same dose runs from £27 to £41. Boots lists Mounjaro doses at standard prices from £179.00 to £339.00.

Check four things before choosing:

  • Is the quoted price a first-order price or the standard repeat price?
  • Is delivery free and cold-chain packaged? Ours is free next-day tracked delivery.
  • Is a prescriber review included, with ongoing monthly reviews?
  • Can you verify the pharmacy on the GPhC register? We are registration 9012878.

A lower headline price from an unverified seller is not a saving. See our Mounjaro best price UK guide for the wider picture, or the Mounjaro discount code page for how the offers work.

03 · Planning

Planning your cost across doses

If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £959.96 at standard prices. A new customer's first order is £40 less and every later order £25 less. A first year (13 pens) costs £2,711.88 if you settle at 5mg, up to £3,599.88 at 15mg. If 7.5mg is your maintenance dose, budget £279.99 per month before discounts.

Compare neighbouring doses on our 5mg, 10mg and 15mg pages. Starting out? See the 2.5mg price.

04 · Ordering

How ordering works

  • Free online consultation: a short health questionnaire, no charge and no obligation. Start your free consultation.
  • Prescriber review: a GPhC-registered prescriber reviews your order. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
  • Dispatch and delivery: same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm, then free next-day tracked delivery in temperature-controlled packaging. Saturday delivery is £14.99.

Klarna and pay-monthly options are available, with no subscription lock-in. Repeat orders re-check suitability and never auto-ship.

05 · Who 7.5mg suits

Who Mounjaro 7.5mg is for

Mounjaro comes as a pre-filled KwikPen in six strengths: 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg and 15mg.1 7.5mg sits in the middle of the ladder, so it is a step-up dose rather than a starting one. A prescriber decides whether to move you up based on how you are responding and tolerating treatment.11

Licensing for weight management covers adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 to 30 with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It is used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. A prescriber assesses your BMI, history and current medicines first.1 Our Mounjaro 7.5 complete guide covers the dose in more depth.

06 · What results to expect

What results can you expect?

In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone.2 These are trial averages and individual results vary. For someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg.

Treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and more activity, not instead of them.

07 · Avoid fake pens

Cheap Mounjaro and counterfeit risk

The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK and issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were identified. Some fakes contained insulin rather than tirzepatide and caused hospitalisations.7 Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register, never from social media, beauty salons or unverified websites.12 Genuine treatment always involves a prescription and a clinical consultation.

Our Mounjaro is supplied through official LillyDirect supply, direct from Eli Lilly's UK distribution. Every pen carries a batch number and expiry date you can check.

08 · Saving money safely

Saving money without taking risks

The legitimate savings are the new-customer and reorder discounts.

09 · Serious side effects

Serious side effects: when to get help straight away

Serious side effects are uncommon but need urgent attention. Seek immediate medical help for: severe, persistent stomach pain that may spread to your back, with or without vomiting (possible pancreatitis); pain in the upper right abdomen, fever or yellowing of skin/eyes (possible gallbladder problems); or signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face or throat and difficulty breathing. If you take insulin or a sulfonylurea alongside Mounjaro, watch for low blood sugar (shakiness, sweating, confusion) — your prescriber may need to adjust those medicines.1

10 · NHS access

NHS access to Mounjaro

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition. The primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.46 Full rollout will take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment.

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
What is the best price for Mounjaro 7.5mg in the UK?
Our standard price for a 7.5mg pen is £279.99 for four weeks. New customers save £40 on a first order with code FIRST40, and later orders are £25 off. Prices checked 10 October 2026.
Where can I find the cheapest Mounjaro in the UK?
Compare the same dose across verified pharmacies, check whether prices are first-order or standard, and confirm the pharmacy on the GPhC register. Across the UK pharmacies we track, the gap between providers for the same dose runs from £27 to £41. Avoid unverified sellers, because fake pens have caused hospitalisations.
Can diabetics get Mounjaro on NHS?
Mounjaro is available on the NHS, with access phased in over several years. It is also licensed in the UK for type 2 diabetes. Whether you qualify depends on your clinical situation, so ask your GP or diabetes team.
What drugs should not be taken with Mounjaro?
Tell your prescriber about every medicine you take. Mounjaro can reduce absorption of oral contraceptives because it slows stomach emptying. The SmPC advises switching to a non-oral method, or adding a barrier method (such as condoms), for 4 weeks after starting Mounjaro and for 4 weeks after each dose increase.1 Insulin and sulfonylureas may need dose adjustments because of low blood sugar risk. Because Mounjaro slows stomach emptying, it can affect how quickly some oral medicines are absorbed, particularly when you start treatment or increase the dose, so tell your prescriber about everything you take, especially warfarin or other narrow-margin medicines.
What should I avoid while taking Mounjaro?
Do not use a pen that is cloudy, frozen or past expiry. Use it alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased activity, and speak to your prescriber about any new symptoms.
Can I eat bananas while taking Mounjaro?
No food is banned on Mounjaro, including bananas. Mounjaro is used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. If you have particular dietary concerns or side effects, discuss them with your prescriber or pharmacist.
What foods ease Mounjaro side effects?
Eat smaller meals slowly, stop at the first feeling of fullness, favour plain lower-fat foods while adjusting, stay well hydrated, and avoid lying down straight after eating. If nausea or vomiting is persistent or you cannot keep fluids down, contact your clinical team — dehydration needs prompt attention. You can also report suspected side effects through the MHRA Yellow Card scheme.
Do I need a prescription to buy Mounjaro 7.5mg?
Yes. Mounjaro is prescription-only and supplied after a free online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full. Be wary of anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription.
