Pyrocalm control peppermint flavour 20mg gastro-resistant tablets are for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (for example heartburn and acid regurgitation) in adults aged 18 years and over.

Omeprazole, a 'proton pump inhibitor' that works by reducing the amount of acid that your stomach produces.

Pyrocalm control peppermint flavour 20mg gastro-resistant tablets are not meant to bring immediate relief - it may be necessary to take them for 2-3 consecutive days before you notice an improvement in your symptoms.

Be taken alongside antacids such as alginic acid, sodium bicarbonate, aluminium hydroxide or magnesium carbonate if needed.
