In this guide

01 · Price outlook

What has happened to Mounjaro prices, and what to expect

Mounjaro prices rose in September 2025 and no reduction has been announced. Pharmacy sell prices vary because of confidential discounts.

Our standard prices run from £169.99 at 2.5mg to £329.99 at 15mg per pen, and across the UK pharmacies we track the gap between providers for the same dose is £27 to £41. The Mounjaro pen is in stock in all six doses.

02 · Lower your cost

Ways to pay less now

You do not need to wait for a list-price cut to lower your bill. These routes are available today:

  • New-customer discount: new customers save £40 on their first order at any dose with code FIRST40.
  • Reorder discount: an automatic £25 reorder discount applies to every future order (code DOSE25).
  • Compare providers: see how to get GLP-1 cheaper and cheaper weight loss injections.

Planning a year? If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £959.96 at standard prices. A first year (13 pens) costs £2,711.88 if you stay on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen, up to £3,599.88 if you step up through every dose to 15mg. A new customer's first order is £40 less and every later order £25 less.

Our consultation is free and reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber, with free next-day tracked delivery and same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm. Start your free consultation or buy Mounjaro online.

03 · NHS access

The NHS route to a lower cost

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.46 Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting.

04 · Cost-saving shortcuts to avoid

Cost-saving shortcuts to avoid

Cheap offers can also be fake. The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens and issued alerts; some fakes contained insulin rather than tirzepatide.7 Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register. Genuine treatment always involves a prescription and a clinical consultation. Related reading: will GLP-1 ever get cheaper.

05 · Who it is for

Who Mounjaro is licensed for

Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 to 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It is used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.1 In SURMOUNT-1 (2,539 adults), average loss at 72 weeks was 20.9% on 15mg versus 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone; individual results vary.2 Mounjaro should not be used during pregnancy and should be stopped at least one month before trying to conceive. Mounjaro can also reduce how well oral contraceptive pills are absorbed: switch to a non-oral method, or add a barrier method such as condoms, for 4 weeks after starting and for 4 weeks after each dose increase. Mounjaro is prescription-only, supplied after a consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. See also will weight loss medications get cheaper.

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Start your free consultation

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
Will Mounjaro get cheaper in 2026?
No UK list-price cut has been announced; the last change was an increase effective 1 September 2025. Pharmacy prices differ, though, and across the UK pharmacies we track the gap for the same dose is £27 to £41. Discounts can also lower your own cost. See also whether Mounjaro is going to get cheaper.
Can diabetics get Mounjaro on NHS?
Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE has a separate recommendation for type 2 diabetes (TA924). Whether you qualify depends on your clinical circumstances, so ask your GP or diabetes team what applies to you.
Can you buy semaglutide in the UK?
Yes. Semaglutide is sold as Wegovy, licensed for weight management, and Ozempic, which is licensed for type 2 diabetes only and is not a UK weight-loss medicine; both are prescription-only and need a clinical consultation. Only buy from a pharmacy listed on the GPhC register. Check availability at the time of order.
How much do semaglutide pills cost per month?
Please see current Wegovy tablet prices on our product pages. Wegovy tablets are an oral semaglutide treatment, and they are separate from once-weekly Mounjaro injections.
When is Mounjaro going to be cheaper?
No date has been announced for a Mounjaro price cut. Meanwhile, the reorder discount of £25 applies to every later order with us. More in when is Mounjaro going to be cheaper.
