A quick overview

What to know
before you start.

  • We accept Visa/Mastercard, Klarna and pay-monthly options, with no subscription. Clearpay is not one of them.
  • Your first 2.5mg pen costs £129.99 with code FIRST40 (standard price £169.99).
  • Mounjaro is prescription-only: a GPhC-registered prescriber reviews your order, and it is refunded automatically in full if the treatment is not suitable.
  • Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register; fake pens have caused hospitalisations.
  • Never accept a seller who offers Mounjaro on a buy-now-pay-later basis without a consultation or prescription.
In this guide

01 · The short answer

Can you use Clearpay to buy Mounjaro from us?

We accept Visa/Mastercard, Klarna and pay-monthly options, and Clearpay is not on that list. Some other websites say they accept it. Read their checkout and terms yourself. For a closer look at the question, see our guides on whether you can get Mounjaro on Clearpay and on Clearpay and Mounjaro in the UK.

If you want to spread the cost, you have two routes with us. Klarna lets you split a payment, and pay-monthly options are available. There are no subscriptions, so you are not locked in. Each repeat order re-checks your suitability, and nothing ships automatically.

02 · Cost

What Mounjaro costs if you pay in instalments

Splitting a payment does not change the price. The standard price of the Mounjaro pen at 2.5mg is £169.99 for one 4-week pen. New customers get £40 off their first order at any dose with code FIRST40, which makes your first 2.5mg pen £129.99. After that, every later order is £25 off the standard price (code DOSE25).

StageWhat it coversStandard cost
First penOne 2.5mg pen, 4 weeks£169.99
First year staying on 5mg after a 2.5mg starting pen13 pens£2,711.88
First year stepping up through every dose to 15mg13 pens£3,599.88

A new customer's first order is £40 less than these figures, and every later order is £25 less. If you settle on another dose, the standard monthly price is £279.99 at 7.5mg, £290.99 at 10mg or £319.99 at 12.5mg. Switching to us at a higher dose? Your first 15mg order is £289.99 with code FIRST40.

The price shown is the price paid, and the consultation is free. For more on stock and ordering, see where to buy Mounjaro in stock or the main Mounjaro ordering page.

03 · How to order

How ordering works in three steps

  • Free online consultation. Complete a short health questionnaire. It costs nothing and carries no obligation. Start your free consultation.
  • Prescriber review. A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews your answers. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
  • Dispatch and delivery. Our registered pharmacy dispenses your order, with same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm. Delivery is free, next-day, tracked and in temperature-controlled packaging. Saturday delivery is £14.99.

Needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance come with every order. Our team is on 0333 207 0413 or support@everydaymeds.co.uk, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

04 · Buying safely online

Can I buy Mounjaro online in the UK safely?

Yes, you can buy Mounjaro online in the UK, provided the seller is a registered pharmacy and a prescriber assesses you first. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, supplied only after an online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. Check any seller on the GPhC register before paying.12 Our registration number is 9012878.

The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK and has issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were identified. Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, and some contained insulin rather than tirzepatide.7 Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify, never from social media, beauty salons or unverified websites. Genuine treatment always involves a prescription and a clinical consultation.7

Be wary of any seller offering to supply without a consultation or prescription, whatever payment method it advertises. A flexible payment option does not make a seller legitimate. For another view of this risk, see buying Mounjaro without photos online.

05 · Genuine supply

How to tell your pen is genuine

Genuine UK stock is supplied through Lilly's official distribution to licensed pharmacies, and every pen carries a batch number and expiry date you can check. We source Mounjaro through official LillyDirect supply, and all six doses (2.5mg to 15mg) are stocked.

A genuine pen arrives cold-chain packaged from a registered pharmacy, and the solution inside is clear and colourless. Do not use a pen that has been frozen, looks cloudy or discoloured, has particles in it or is past its expiry. Also avoid one that has been out of the fridge for more than 30 days in use, or above 30°C.13 If supply or packaging ever seems wrong, check the pharmacy on the GPhC register and contact the pharmacy before injecting.

06 · Eligibility and what it is

Who can be prescribed Mounjaro?

Mounjaro is the brand name for tirzepatide, a once-weekly injectable made by Eli Lilly. In the UK it is licensed for weight management in adults and for type 2 diabetes. It comes as a pre-filled multi-dose KwikPen in six strengths: 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg and 15mg.1

For weight management it is licensed for adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition. Examples are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. A prescriber will assess your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding whether it is suitable.111

In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks. The comparison group, on lifestyle changes alone, lost 3.1%. These are trial averages and individual results vary.2 For someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg.

07 · NHS and diabetes

NHS access, and what it means for people with diabetes

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition. The NHS primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.46 Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting.

Mounjaro is also licensed for type 2 diabetes, and NICE has separate guidance for that use.8 If you have diabetes, your GP or diabetes team can tell you whether NHS prescribing applies to you. Read more in our guide to Clearpay, Mounjaro and the NHS.

08 · What to avoid

What should I avoid while taking Mounjaro?

Each KwikPen is designed and licensed to deliver exactly four weekly doses. Use the pen as designed, then dispose of it.1

For interactions with other medicines, food or alcohol, read the patient information leaflet and tell your prescriber about everything you take. Our team provides ongoing monthly reviews and side-effect support.

09 · High street comparison

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Start your free consultation

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.
