Not at list-price level. Eli Lilly agreed to raise the UK list price of Mounjaro from £92–£122 per month to £133–£330 per month depending on dose, effective 1 September 2025, an increase of up to 170% on the highest dose.10 Pharmacy sell prices differ because of confidential discounts, so what you pay depends on where you buy.

How to pay less for a licensed pen
Your first 2.5mg Mounjaro pen costs £129.99 with code FIRST40 (standard price £169.99), a first-order price. Switching at 15mg? Your first order is £289.99. Every later order is £25 off the standard price, and there are no subscriptions. Our discount code guide explains how the codes work.
If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £959.96 at standard prices. A first year costs £2,711.88 if you stay on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen, up to £3,599.88 if you step up through every dose to 15mg. A new customer's first order is £40 less and every later order £25 less.

- A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews it. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.

04 · Cheap pens and fakes
Why too-cheap pens are a risk
The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK and issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were identified. Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, and some contained insulin rather than tirzepatide.7 Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register, never from social media, beauty salons or unverified websites.12 Genuine treatment always involves a prescription and a clinical consultation.

The NHS route
Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first.6 Many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than wait.
