A quick overview
What to know
before you start.
-
A weight loss bundle usually means shakes, bars or supplements grouped together for convenience, not a medical treatment.
-
Supplement and shake bundles are cheap to buy and need no assessment, but they carry no clinical oversight and no trial data comparable to prescription treatment.
-
Mounjaro is a prescription medicine; a pen's standard price starts at £169.99, and the first-order discount applies at any dose.
-
Any bundle works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and more physical activity, not instead of them.
In this guide
01 · The basics
What is a weight loss bundle?
A weight loss bundle is a set of products sold together at one checkout, designed to help you eat fewer calories with less effort. Most bundles you will find online are built around meal-replacement shakes, protein powders, snack bars, fat-burner capsules or fibre supplements. Some retailers add a shaker bottle or a recipe guide.
The appeal is easy to see. Everything arrives in one box, the plan feels structured, and you avoid deciding what to buy. The limitation is just as clear: a bundle is a convenience product. It does not change your appetite, and it does not involve anyone checking whether it is suitable for you.
There is a second meaning of the term. Some providers use "bundle" to describe a prescribed treatment package, such as a starter pack of weekly injections with follow-up care. You can read more in our guide to the weight loss injection bundle.
| Type of bundle | What it usually contains | Assessment needed? | Evidence level |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meal-replacement bundle | Shakes, soups, bars; calorie-controlled | No | Depends on the product; calorie reduction does the work |
| Protein and supplement bundle | Whey powder, capsules, bars, shaker | No | Marketing-led; dosing is not standardised |
| Fat-burner or "natural" bundle | Herbal or botanical capsules | No | Low-cost supplement, no clinical oversight |
| Prescribed Mounjaro plan | Weekly tirzepatide pen, needles, sharps bin, guidance, monthly reviews | Yes: free online consultation, reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber | SURMOUNT-1 trial data2 |

02 · Prescribed option
The prescribed route: Mounjaro, cost and what's included
Mounjaro is the brand name for tirzepatide, a once-weekly injection licensed in the UK for weight management in adults.1 The Mounjaro pen comes in six strengths from 2.5mg to 15mg, and the standard price of one 2.5mg pen (four weeks) is £169.99. A new customer's first order is £40 less with code FIRST40, so your first 2.5mg pen costs £129.99. Every later order gets an automatic £25 off the standard price (code DOSE25).
Most people do not stay on the starting dose. If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £959.96 at standard prices, before discounts. After that you pay for whichever dose you settle on. A first year costs £2,711.88 if you settle at 5mg, up to £3,599.88 at 15mg, again before discounts. Other maintenance doses are £279.99 (7.5mg), £290.99 (10mg) and £319.99 (12.5mg) per month.
What you get for that price is a medicine plus the support around it:
- A free online consultation with no obligation, reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber, not a scoring script.
- Genuine KwikPens through official LillyDirect supply, with all six doses in stock.
- Needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance with every order.
- Ongoing monthly reviews, dose-titration and side-effect support from the prescribing team.
- Free next-day tracked delivery in temperature-controlled packaging; same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm.
Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or Klarna, with pay-monthly options and no subscriptions. Repeat orders re-check suitability, and nothing ships automatically. Compare this with the weight loss starter bundle if you are weighing up a first step.
03 · How to order
How ordering works
Ordering takes three steps, and if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, your order is refunded automatically in full.
- 1. Start the free consultation. Complete a short health questionnaire through our free online consultation. There is no charge and no obligation.
- 2. Prescriber review. A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews your answers. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
- 3. Dispensing and delivery. Our registered pharmacy dispenses your pen and sends it with free next-day tracked delivery in discreet packaging. Saturday delivery is £14.99.
The consultation is free and the price shown is the price paid, with no hidden fees. Support is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, by email at support@everydaymeds.co.uk, in your account portal chat, or on 0333 207 0413.
04 · Shake and meal-replacement bundles
Shake and meal-replacement bundles
Shake bundles work by replacing some meals with a measured, lower-calorie product. That is their entire mechanism: you eat less because the choice has been made for you. For some people that structure is genuinely useful, especially in the first few weeks of changing habits.
The common bundle formats you will see are a starter pack of a few days' worth of meals, a one-month pack with a daily shake plan, and a low-carbohydrate pack aimed at very low calorie diets. Many include a free shaker or a recipe booklet.
Before you buy a shake bundle, check four things:
- What the meal actually replaces. A shake added on top of your usual meals adds calories rather than removing them.
- Whether it can be sustained. A plan you can follow for a few days but not a few months tends to end in regaining what you lost.
- Whether very low calorie plans suit you. If you take regular medicines, have a medical condition, are pregnant or are under 18, speak to a pharmacist or GP first.
- What happens afterwards. Few bundles include a plan for returning to ordinary food.
Shake bundles are not a prescription treatment, and nobody reviews your medical history before you buy. For people with a lot of weight to lose, or weight-related health conditions, they may be a useful supporting tool but are seldom the whole answer.
05 · Supplement and fat-burner bundles
Supplement and fat-burner bundles
Supplement bundles are the cheapest and least regulated end of the market. They are low-cost supplements with no clinical oversight, available cheaply without any assessment. That convenience is exactly their weakness.
You will see capsules marketed as "natural" alternatives to prescription medicines, sometimes with nicknames that borrow the name of a real drug. Treat that kind of comparison with suspicion. A botanical capsule is not tirzepatide or semaglutide, and it does not act on your appetite hormones in the same way.
Dosing is not standardised across supplement products, which makes it hard to know what you are taking or how it might interact with other medicines. If you take any prescription medicine, ask a pharmacist before starting a supplement. If you notice a side effect from any product, you can report it through the MHRA Yellow Card scheme.19
A good rule: if the marketing makes bigger promises than the label and the evidence, the bundle is probably selling hope rather than a method.
06 · What the evidence shows
What the clinical evidence shows for Mounjaro
The main trial data for a prescribed plan come from SURMOUNT-1, a trial of 2,539 adults. People taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone.2 These are trial averages, and individual results vary. Treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, not instead of them.
To make that concrete: for someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg. That is a worked example of arithmetic on the trial average, not a prediction of your result.
The same trial reported how many people reached meaningful thresholds. At 72 weeks, 85% of participants on 5mg, 89% on 10mg and 91% on 15mg had lost at least 5% of their body weight. Half of participants on 10mg and 57% on 15mg lost at least 20% of their body weight.2
Tirzepatide activates two natural gut-hormone receptors at once, GIP and GLP-1. Together these help regulate appetite, slow how quickly the stomach empties and improve the way the body responds to insulin. In practice, most people feel fuller sooner and less hungry between meals, which supports a reduced-calorie diet.1
07 · Who can be prescribed
Who can be prescribed Mounjaro, and the NHS picture
Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. A prescriber will assess your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding whether it is suitable.1
Mounjaro is also available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition, and the NHS primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first (initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions).46 Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting. Mounjaro should not be used during pregnancy, and it should be stopped at least one month before trying to conceive. If you become pregnant during treatment, stop the medicine and tell your prescriber promptly.
If you are researching options for a particular group, see our page on weight loss bundles for women. Prefer to compare medicines? Our Wegovy bundle packs page covers the semaglutide route, and all weight loss treatments are listed in one place.
08 · Buying safely
Buying a weight loss bundle safely
Only buy prescription weight-loss medicine from a registered pharmacy that assesses you first. You can check any UK pharmacy on the GPhC register; ours is registration 9012878.12
The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK and has issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were identified.7 Treat these as red flags:
- A seller offering to supply a prescription injection without a consultation or prescription.
- Social-media or marketplace listings with no pharmacy registration number.
- "Bundles" of unlabelled vials or pens with dramatic weight-loss claims.
- Prices far below anything else you see, with no explanation of the supply route.
We supply genuine Mounjaro KwikPens through official LillyDirect supply, direct from Eli Lilly's UK distribution. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, supplied only after an online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. Mounjaro is not suitable for everyone. You should not take it if you are allergic to tirzepatide or any of its ingredients, and it should not be used during pregnancy or while trying to conceive. Your prescriber will take extra care, or may recommend against treatment, if you have a history of pancreatitis, severe gut or digestive disease, diabetic retinopathy, or gallbladder problems. Seek immediate medical help for severe, persistent stomach pain that may spread to your back, with or without vomiting (possible pancreatitis); pain in the upper right abdomen, fever or yellowing of skin or eyes (possible gallbladder problems); or signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face or throat and difficulty breathing. Mounjaro slows stomach emptying, which can reduce how well oral contraceptive pills are absorbed: switch to a non-oral method, or add a barrier method (such as condoms), for 4 weeks after starting and for 4 weeks after each dose increase.
09 · Choosing your bundle
How to choose between bundle types
Choose by how much weight you want to lose, your health, and how much support you want. Here is a simple way to think it through.
A shake or meal-replacement bundle may suit you if you have a modest amount to lose, are generally healthy, want a short structured reset and are happy to manage hunger yourself. Keep expectations realistic and have a plan for ordinary meals afterwards.
A supplement bundle is not a treatment. It is cheap and easy to buy, but it carries no clinical oversight and no assessment. If you take it, treat it as optional, not as treatment.
A prescribed plan may suit you if you meet the licensed criteria, have struggled to lose weight with diet and activity alone, or have weight-related health conditions. It involves a free consultation, a prescriber's review and ongoing monthly check-ins. Not everyone is suitable, and a prescriber will decide that after reviewing your history. You can also read our Mounjaro before and after at one month guide for realistic expectations of the first weeks.
Whichever you choose, the foundations stay the same: a reduced-calorie diet, more physical activity, enough sleep and regular check-ins on how you feel.
10 · Common questions on lifestyle tips
Quick fixes, tricks and viral plans
Quick fixes such as belly-fat "killers", superfoods, walking trends or a so-called Japanese trick are often promoted alongside weight loss bundles. There is no clinical evidence behind these quick fixes, so we do not endorse them.
Sustainable change comes from a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, which is also what a prescribed treatment is designed to support.
If you are unsure where to start, a free consultation is a reasonable first step: a prescriber can tell you whether medical treatment is suitable or whether lifestyle support is the better route for you. Majaro weight loss, Monjouro weight loss and Manjura weight loss are other spellings of the same prescribed medicine, Mounjaro.
