Why do we need this?
As a GPhC-registered pharmacy, we’re required to verify who you are and confirm your BMI before treatment can be approved.
Here’s how it works:
After ordering: You’ll get an email to upload:
- Photo ID (passport or driving licence)
- A live video of yourself on your scales, to verify your weight
- Your previous prescription or proof of supply, if you’re transferring from another provider
Within 72 hours: If nothing is uploaded within 72 hours of ordering, your order is cancelled and refunded in full, automatically.
Our next working day promise starts when you upload, not when you order. Upload quickly and correctly and your treatment ships same day; delays or incorrect uploads mean next working day delivery can’t be guaranteed.
Do all pharmacies ask for this?
Yes. Any UK pharmacy registered with the GPhC that prescribes weight loss treatment has to confirm your identity and independently verify your BMI before a prescriber can approve it. It is a regulatory requirement for safe prescribing, not an EverydayMeds rule.
The difference is that we tell you upfront. Most providers don't mention it at all until after you've paid, then request the same checks as a mandatory requirement. Same checks either way, we'd just rather you knew before you ordered than after.
