How to Take Xenical 120mg Capsules
Xenical (orlistat) 120mg capsules are taken one capsule three times daily with each main meal containing fat. Take each capsule immediately before, during, or up to one hour after eating. If you miss a meal or eat a meal containing no fat, you can skip that dose. Never take more than three capsules per day.
Dosing Schedule for Best Results
Plan your Xenical doses around your three main meals - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each meal should contain approximately 15 grams of fat or less to minimise gastrointestinal side effects. The medication works by blocking approximately one third of the fat you eat from being absorbed into your body.
