01 · The basics

What is a Mounjaro bundle pack?

A Mounjaro bundle pack is a multi-pen order: two or three KwikPens, usually at rising strengths, bought together rather than one pen at a time. Mounjaro comes in six strengths (2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg and 15mg), and each pen is a four-week supply.¹ A bundle is therefore a way of grouping those pens, not a different product.

The pens inside are the same genuine KwikPens, supplied through official LillyDirect supply from Eli Lilly's UK distribution.

02 · Costs

What does a multi-pen order cost?

A multi-pen order costs the sum of its pens at standard prices, less the discounts you are entitled to. The Mounjaro pen page shows the live price for each strength. The table shows the two multi-pen totals that matter most when you plan ahead. All figures are standard prices, before any discount.

For other maintenance doses, use the monthly price for that strength: £279.99 for 7.5mg, £290.99 for 10mg and £319.99 for 12.5mg. A 5mg pen is £218.99 and a 15mg pen is £329.99. These are per-month pen prices, not year totals.

Discounts then come off these figures. A new customer's first order is £40 less with code FIRST40, at any dose. That includes people switching to us at a higher strength: your first 15mg pen would be £289.99 as a first-order price. An automatic £25 reorder discount applies to every future order (code DOSE25).

03 · Honest comparison

Does buying a bundle actually save money?

04 · Dose steps and pens

How pens map to dose steps

Each KwikPen is a multi-dose pen at one strength, and the six strengths run from 2.5mg to 15mg.¹ A bundle pack is simply two or three of those pens sold together. The strength you start on and the pace at which you move up are set by your prescriber, who follows the product information and the BNF.¹¹

For planning, the first four pens in the usual ladder are 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg and 10mg. Not everyone follows that ladder exactly or reaches the top strength. Some people settle on a lower dose, which is why a fixed bundle may not match your path.

05 · Who can use Mounjaro

Who Mounjaro is licensed for

Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition. Examples include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes and type 2 diabetes.¹¹¹ It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

A prescriber assesses your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding whether it is suitable. This is the reason a bundle should never be bought before approval. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.

Because suitability is assessed each time, repeat orders re-check it. There is no auto-shipping. This protects you if your circumstances change between pens, which is a real consideration when you hold several pens at once.

06 · What to expect from results

What results to expect from a course

In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone.² These are trial averages. Individual results vary, and treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, not instead of them.

At 72 weeks, 85% of participants on 5mg, 89% on 10mg and 91% on 15mg had lost at least 5% of their body weight. Half of participants on 10mg and 57% on 15mg lost at least 20% of their body weight.² As a worked example, for someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg.

A short pack is the beginning of a course, not a result in itself, and trial averages do not predict your own outcome. Plan for the whole year, not only the first bundle.

07 · Storage and travel

Storing several pens at home

Keep unopened pens in the fridge until first use. They keep until the printed expiry date.¹³ Once you start a pen, it can be kept out of the fridge at a temperature not above 30°C for up to 30 days after first use, and must then be thrown away. Do not use a pen that has been above 30°C or frozen. For any other storage question, such as an unopened pen left out of the fridge, check the patient information leaflet and ask the pharmacy rather than guessing.

08 · Side effects and support

Side effects and aftercare

Holding several pens does not change how your body responds to a dose, and side effects can change as you move up in strength. Our guide to reducing Mounjaro side effects covers practical steps. 09 · NHS or private

NHS or private: the honest picture

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition. The NHS primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.⁴⁶ Full rollout is expected to take years.

That is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting. If you qualify for NHS treatment, it is worth asking your GP first. If you go private, a multi-pen order is one way of spreading cost planning across several months. It is not required, and ordering pen by pen is equally valid.

10 · Serious side effects

Serious side effects: when to get help straight away

Serious side effects are uncommon but need urgent attention. Seek immediate medical help for: severe, persistent stomach pain that may spread to your back, with or without vomiting (possible pancreatitis); pain in the upper right abdomen, fever or yellowing of skin/eyes (possible gallbladder problems); or signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling of the face or throat and difficulty breathing. If you take insulin or a sulfonylurea alongside Mounjaro, watch for low blood sugar (shakiness, sweating, confusion) — your prescriber may need to adjust those medicines.¹
