A quick overview

What to know
before you start.

  • Verify any seller on the GPhC register before you pay; genuine treatment always involves a prescription and consultation.
  • The NHS offers Mounjaro, but access is phased in over several years, so many people choose private treatment.
  • Across the UK pharmacies we track, Mounjaro pens range from £143.96 to £339.00 per month depending on dose and provider.
  • Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, so a low price from an unverified seller is a warning sign.
  • Our consultation is free, and the price shown is the price paid.

01 · Your options

NHS or private: which route suits you?

The NHS is the first place to ask if you qualify. Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.46 Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment. Ask your GP first; NHS access to Wegovy runs through specialist weight-management services.

Privately, Mounjaro is licensed for adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 to 30 with a weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. A prescriber assesses your BMI, history and medicines first.1

02 · Cost

What private treatment costs

Across the UK pharmacies we track (checked 10 October 2026), Mounjaro pens run from £143.96 to £339.00 per month, and the gap between providers for the same dose is £27 to £41. At EverydayMeds the Mounjaro pen starts at £169.99 for 2.5mg, and all six doses are in stock. A new customer saves £40 on their first order at any dose with code FIRST40, and every later order is £25 off the standard price (code DOSE25).

A first year costs £2,711.88 if you stay on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen, up to £3,599.88 if you step up through every dose to 15mg. These are standard prices; a new customer's first order is £40 less and every later order £25 less. You can compare more options in our guide to buying weight loss drugs online.

03 · Spotting a safe seller

How to spot a safe seller

Check the pharmacy on the GPhC register; ours is 9012878.12 The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens and issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were identified. Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, and some contained insulin rather than tirzepatide. Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify, never from social media, beauty salons or unverified websites. Genuine treatment always involves a prescription and a clinical consultation.7

04 · Checking your pen

Checking a pen is genuine

A genuine UK pen comes from a registered pharmacy with a batch number and expiry date, arrives cold-chain packaged, and the solution is clear and colourless. Do not use a pen that has been frozen, looks cloudy or discoloured, has particles, is past its expiry, has been above 30°C, or has been out of the fridge for more than 30 days in use. If anything seems wrong, check the pharmacy on the GPhC register and contact it before injecting.13

05 · What results to expect

What results to expect

In SURMOUNT-1, 2,539 adults taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, versus 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone.2 For someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg. These are trial averages; individual results vary, and treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and more activity, not instead of them.

06 · Why we are an option

Why people choose EverydayMeds

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Start your free consultation

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
How do I choose a company to get weight loss drugs from?
Choose one you can verify on the GPhC register that supplies only after a consultation reviewed by a prescriber. We are GPhC-registered (9012878) and supply Mounjaro through official LillyDirect supply. Compare providers on verification, aftercare and price, not on the lowest figure alone.
Where is the cheapest place to buy weight loss drugs?
Across the UK pharmacies we track, Mounjaro pens range from £143.96 to £339.00 per month, checked 10 October 2026. Compare the same dose between registered providers and avoid unverified sellers, since a suspiciously low price can signal counterfeit stock.
Where can I find the cheapest Mounjaro in the UK?
Compare registered pharmacies dose for dose. Across the UK pharmacies we track, the 2.5mg starting pen ranges from £143.96 to £179.99.
Can I buy Ozempic online legally?
Only from a registered UK pharmacy after a consultation and prescription. Ozempic is licensed for type 2 diabetes only and is not a UK weight-loss medicine, so a regulated UK pharmacy will not supply it for weight loss. Any seller offering to supply without a consultation or prescription is not legitimate. Check the pharmacy on the GPhC register before you pay.
Which is safer, Wegovy or Mounjaro?
Both are licensed prescription treatments, and neither is safe for everyone. Safety depends on your medical history and current medicines, which a prescriber reviews. Your prescriber can advise which suits you. Seek immediate medical help for severe, persistent stomach pain that may spread to your back (possible pancreatitis), pain in the upper right abdomen, fever or yellowing of the skin or eyes (possible gallbladder problems), or signs of a severe allergic reaction. Report any side effects through the Yellow Card scheme.
Is there an over the counter weight loss pill that works like prescription treatment?
Over-the-counter products are low-cost supplements or pills with no clinical oversight, and none matches prescription treatment in a regulated assessment. For clinically proven options, a prescriber can review whether a licensed medicine suits you.
Does the NHS offer weight loss drugs?
Yes. Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus a weight-related condition, with the highest-need groups first. Ask your GP whether you qualify.
