01 · The checklist

What makes an online company good for Mounjaro?

A good online company for Mounjaro is one you can verify, that supplies the genuine medicine, and that keeps a clinician involved after your first box. Price matters, but only once those three are settled. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, so any seller offering to supply without a consultation or prescription should be avoided outright.

Use this table on any company you are considering, including us.

If a company fails the first three rows, price should not tempt you. Counterfeit and unregulated weight-loss injections are a known risk, and the MHRA publishes counterfeit medicine alerts and runs the Yellow Card scheme for reporting problems.7

02 · Price

What does Mounjaro cost from an online company?

Mounjaro costs between £143.96 and £339.00 per month across the UK pharmacies we track, depending on dose and provider (checked 10 October 2026). The cheapest starting pen in our index is £143.96 and the dearest is £179.99. For the same dose, the gap between providers runs from £27 to £41. Boots' Mounjaro dose prices range from £179.00 to £339.00.

At EverydayMeds, the standard price of the Mounjaro pen at the 2.5mg starting dose is £169.99 per month (one 4-week pen). A new customer gets £40 off their first order at any dose with code FIRST40, so your first 2.5mg pen costs £129.99. Switching to us at 15mg? Your first order is £289.99. After that, every later order is £25 off the standard price, applied automatically (code DOSE25).

The full live price table for every dose is shown on the Buy Mounjaro page. If price is your main filter, our guide to the cheapest company for Mounjaro explains how to compare like for like, dose against dose.

03 · Ordering

How ordering Mounjaro online works

Ordering takes three stages, and if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, your order is refunded automatically in full. This is how it works with us:

  • Free online consultation. A short health questionnaire, with no charge and no obligation. Start your free consultation when you are ready.
  • Prescriber review. A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews your answers. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
  • Dispensing and delivery. Our registered pharmacy dispenses your pen, with same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm, then free next-day tracked delivery in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging. Saturday delivery is £14.99.

We accept Visa and Mastercard, Klarna and pay-monthly options. There are no subscriptions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than shipping automatically. Needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance come with every order.

04 · What Mounjaro is

What Mounjaro is and how it works

Mounjaro is the brand name for tirzepatide, a once-weekly injectable prescription medicine made by Eli Lilly. In the UK it is licensed for weight management in adults and for type 2 diabetes.1 It comes as a pre-filled multi-dose pen, the KwikPen, in six strengths: 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg and 15mg.1

Understanding the product matters when you choose a company, because a provider should be able to explain exactly what you are buying. Any seller who cannot tell you it is a branded KwikPen of a licensed medicine, in one of those six strengths, is a warning sign. The patient information leaflet in the box is a useful reference and should match what you were told.13

Tirzepatide is the first treatment of its kind to activate two natural gut-hormone receptors at once: GIP and GLP-1. Together these help regulate appetite, slow how quickly the stomach empties, and improve the way the body responds to insulin.1 In practice, most people feel fuller sooner and less hungry between meals, which supports a reduced-calorie diet.

This dual action is what distinguishes Mounjaro from single-action GLP-1 medicines such as semaglutide (Wegovy and Ozempic).11 If you are weighing the wider field of injections rather than Mounjaro alone, see choosing a company for GLP-1 treatment and the weight loss treatments hub.

Because it is a once-weekly pen, the practical side is simple: one injection on the same day each week, following the pen's own instructions. Your provider should walk you through this, and with us needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance are included with every order. That kind of practical support is a fair test of a company. If a seller ships a pen with no guidance, you are being treated as a transaction rather than a patient.

Mounjaro is only one part of the approach. It is used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, and a good company will say so plainly instead of promising that the pen alone does the work.

05 · Who is eligible

Who can get Mounjaro for weight management?

Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition.1 Weight-related conditions include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

The decision belongs to a prescriber. A prescriber will assess your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding whether it is suitable for you.11 That is exactly why the consultation step matters when you compare companies. A provider that approves everyone, or that never asks about your medical history or your other medicines, is not applying the licence properly.

With us, the consultation is free and has no obligation. It is a short health questionnaire that a GPhC-registered prescriber reviews, rather than a scoring script. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.

This is also where honesty counts. Being refused is not a failure of the service; it is the service working. Compare that with companies whose marketing implies that anyone can start on any dose. The licence is specific, and the medicine is prescription-only.

Things worth having ready before you start any consultation, with any company:

  • Your approximate height and weight, so BMI can be assessed against the licensed criteria.
  • Any weight-related conditions you have been diagnosed with, such as high blood pressure or prediabetes.
  • A full list of your current medicines, including anything for diabetes.
  • Your medical history, including anything you have been treated for in the past.

If you are already on another GLP-1 or tirzepatide product and want to switch provider, tell the prescriber what you take and at what strength. The prescriber will review it as part of your consultation. A new customer's discount of £40 on a first order applies at any dose, including for people switching to us at a higher dose.

If you want a second look at the provider side of this question, our page on the best online pharmacy for Mounjaro approaches it from the pharmacy angle.

06 · NHS versus private

NHS or private: which route suits you?

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years.5 NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition.4 The NHS primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions.6

Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than waiting.6 That is an honest picture, and it is worth being clear about both halves. If you are in a group the NHS is prioritising, ask your GP first. The medicine is the same tirzepatide, and the NHS route avoids the cost.

If you are not yet in a prioritised group, or would rather not wait, a regulated online pharmacy is the other route. The licence for private prescribing is broader than the current NHS rollout stage. It covers a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 to 30 with a weight-related condition.1

Some practical points when weighing the two:

  • Cost. NHS prescriptions in England carry the standard prescription charge, currently £9.90 per item where it applies. Private treatment is paid for by you, so price comparison matters.
  • Speed. Private consultations are online and a prescriber reviews them promptly; NHS access depends on your local service and your place in the phased rollout.
  • Choice of dose and pace. Private providers offer all six strengths, with titration managed by the prescribing team.

Neither route is better in absolute terms. They are different answers to different circumstances. A good company will tell you about the NHS option instead of pretending it does not exist. If you want the product-specific view, the Mounjaro company guide explains who makes the medicine and how supply reaches UK pharmacies.

One final point: you can start privately and later move to an NHS service if you become eligible, or the other way round. Telling each prescriber what you take and when you started keeps everything safe.

07 · What the trials show

What the clinical trial shows

In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone.2 These are trial averages. Individual results vary, and treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity, not instead of them.

It helps to turn percentages into something concrete, as a worked example only. For someone starting at 100 kg, 15% is about 15 kg and 20.9% is about 21 kg. Your own starting weight, dose, diet and activity will make your result different, and trial averages do not predict your own result.

The same trial reports how many people reached certain thresholds. At 72 weeks, 85% of participants on 5mg, 89% on 10mg and 91% on 15mg had lost at least 5% of their body weight. Half of participants on 10mg and 57% on 15mg lost at least 20% of their body weight.2

The way a company talks about results tells you about its standards. Look for these signs:

  • Results are attributed to a named trial, with the dose and the 72-week timescale.
  • Diet and activity are mentioned as part of treatment, not as optional extras.
  • There are no before-and-after claims dressed up as typical.

We keep the 100,000+ customers figure for what it is: the number of people we have supported on their journey, not a statement about how well treatment works.

If a provider's marketing quotes a dramatic result with no trial name, no dose and no timescale, treat that as a reason to look elsewhere. The honest answer from any good pharmacy is that outcomes depend on the person, and that the prescriber will review progress at monthly intervals.

08 · Year cost planning

Planning the cost of a year on Mounjaro

If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £959.96 at standard prices. A first year (13 pens) costs £2,711.88 if you stay on 5mg after your 2.5mg starting pen, up to £3,599.88 if you step up through every dose to 15mg. These totals are before discounts: a new customer's first order is £40 less, and every later order is £25 less.

Price per pen is only part of the picture, so plan around the whole course. Treatment is dose-titrated, which means you step up over time under prescriber review, and the dose you settle at drives your monthly cost for the rest of the year. These are the standard monthly prices for the maintenance doses between the two year totals:

Maintenance doseStandard price per month (4-week pen)Per week
5mg£218.99£54.75
7.5mg£279.99£70.00
10mg£290.99£72.75
12.5mg£319.99£80.00
15mg£329.99£82.50

Every later order is £25 off those standard prices.

  • Compare the same dose, not the headline starting price. A low 2.5mg price says little about what you will pay at 10mg.
  • Ask what is included. Our consultation is free, delivery is free next-day tracked, and the price shown is the price paid.
  • Check how repeat orders are priced. We apply an automatic reorder discount to every future order.
  • Look for lock-in. We have no subscriptions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

You can spread the cost with Klarna or pay-monthly options. These are standard prices as of October 2026, checked 11 October 2026, and your own course depends on the dose your prescriber recommends. The weight loss injections company guide sets out how to budget across treatments if you are still choosing between medicines.

Finally, think about what happens if you stop. The cost of treatment ends with your final pen, but the medicine takes about 4–5 weeks to clear. Planning for the long term, including how you will maintain habits, is part of a sensible budget.

09 · Price comparison

How Mounjaro prices compare across providers

Mounjaro prices differ between providers because pharmacies set their own sell prices. Eli Lilly announced a UK list-price increase for Mounjaro on 14 August 2025, effective 1 September 2025.

Pharmacy sell prices vary because of confidential discounts, so two companies can charge differently for the same pen. That is why a comparison is worth doing, and why it should be dated. Our own index of the UK pharmacies we track, checked 10 October 2026, shows:

  • Across all doses and providers, a Mounjaro pen costs from £143.96 to £339.00 per month.
  • The 2.5mg starting pen ranges from £143.96 to £179.99.
  • For the same dose, the gap between providers is between £27 and £41.
  • Boots' Mounjaro dose prices run from £179.00 to £339.00.

For comparison, our own standard prices run from £169.99 for 2.5mg to £329.99 for 15mg per month, checked 11 October 2026. Your first order is £40 less with code FIRST40, and every later order is £25 off the standard price.

A few cautions apply when you compare any company:

  • Starting price versus ongoing price. Introductory offers can disguise a higher cost at the doses you will actually use.
  • What the headline excludes. Check whether consultation, delivery and follow-up are included. With us the consultation is free and there are no hidden fees.
  • Date of the price. Prices change. A price shown without a date may be out of date.

A very low price should also prompt a question about supply. Genuine Mounjaro comes through the manufacturer's UK distribution, and we receive ours from official LillyDirect supply. If a seller is far below every other provider you can find, ask where its pens come from before you buy.

You will find our broader take on how these figures play out in the Eli Lilly and Mounjaro guide, which covers the manufacturer's role in pricing and supply.

10 · Spotting unsafe sellers

How to spot an unsafe Mounjaro seller

An unsafe seller usually fails at least one of three tests: it cannot be verified, it will supply without a proper consultation, or its product cannot be traced to the manufacturer. Counterfeit medicine is a real concern for in-demand injectables, and the MHRA publishes counterfeit medicine alerts and runs the Yellow Card scheme.7

Run through this list before you pay anyone:

  • Look the pharmacy up. Genuine UK online pharmacies appear on the GPhC public register.12 Ours is registration 9012878.
  • Expect a consultation. Mounjaro is prescription-only. Anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription is not operating lawfully.
  • Ask about supply. Genuine KwikPens come through the manufacturer's UK distribution. We supply through official LillyDirect, direct from Eli Lilly's UK distribution.
  • Be wary of social media sellers and marketplace listings. A professional-looking page is not a registration.
  • Treat dramatic promises as a red flag. Dramatic weight-loss claims and promises of specific results are not how a regulated pharmacy talks.
  • Watch for unusual packaging. The leaflet and pen should match what a regulated pharmacy would supply.

Supplements sold as alternatives, sometimes marketed with Mounjaro-style nicknames, are a different category entirely. They are low-cost supplements with no clinical oversight, dosing is not standardised, and they are not an established substitute for a licensed medicine.

If something goes wrong with any medicine, report it. The Yellow Card scheme accepts reports of suspected side effects and suspected counterfeit or faulty medicines.19 If a new symptom appears during treatment, speak to your prescriber, whichever company you use.

Finally, check that a company is clear about what it will do if you are unsuitable. With us, declined consultations are refunded automatically in full, and refunds take 5–10 working days. Dispensed prescription medicines cannot be returned except for a faulty, damaged or wrong item, which you should report within 3 days. Clear terms like those are a good sign, and vague terms are not.

11 · Aftercare and support

Aftercare, reviews and support

Good aftercare means a named process for reviews, dose changes and side-effect questions, not just a delivery. This is where companies differ most, and it is worth as much weight as price. With us, the prescribing team provides ongoing monthly reviews, dose-titration and follow-up assessments, plus side-effect support.

Dose changes are the central reason this matters. Mounjaro comes in six strengths, from 2.5mg to 15mg, and the dose is stepped under prescriber supervision rather than chosen by the customer.1 That is a large difference, so changes should always go through a prescriber.

Repeat orders re-check suitability. There is no auto-shipping, so nothing is sent before it has been reviewed again. If your circumstances change, such as a new diagnosis or a new medicine, tell the prescribing team before your next order.

Practical support channels with us:

  • Email: support@everydaymeds.co.uk
  • Phone: 0333 207 0413
  • Account portal chat
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

We also offer GLPTrackr, a free companion app for tracking a GLP-1 journey, available on iOS and Android. Tracking doses, injection days and how you feel gives you something concrete to bring to a review.

What happens if you stop? Tirzepatide has a half-life of about five days, so after a final dose it takes roughly 4–5 weeks to clear the system. There is no way to speed this up, and nothing needs doing while it clears.1 Mounjaro manages weight; it does not cure the biology behind it. In SURMOUNT-4, people who stopped tirzepatide after 36 weeks regained on average 14% of body weight over the following year, while those who continued treatment lost a further 5.5% on average. Stopping should always be planned with your prescriber, with diet and activity habits ready to carry the load. Tell your prescriber if you are stopping or pausing, so your records are right and any restart is reviewed properly.

When comparing companies, ask these questions: who reviews my progress, how often, how do I reach them, and what happens when I want to change dose? A provider that answers clearly is one that expects to support you after the first box.

12 · Delivery and storage

Delivery, storage and what arrives

Your Mounjaro should arrive by tracked, temperature-controlled delivery, and you should store it in the fridge until you start it. With us, delivery is free, next-day and tracked with DPD, in discreet temperature-controlled packaging. We dispatch the same day when you order by 3pm. Saturday delivery is available for £14.99.

What you should find in the box matters as much as how fast it arrives. Expect genuine KwikPens, and with us needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance are included with every order. The patient information leaflet explains how to use the pen and what to watch for.13

Storage is straightforward. Keep unopened pens in the fridge until first use, and they keep until the printed expiry date.13 Once in use, a pen can be kept out of the fridge at a temperature not above 30°C for up to 30 days after first use, and must then be thrown away. Do not use a pen that has been above 30°C or frozen.1 For any other storage question, such as an unopened pen that has been left out of the fridge, check the leaflet and contact the pharmacy rather than guessing.

Follow the pen's own instructions for the injection itself. Do not rely on a figure quoted by a seller for how long to hold it.

Use this checklist when your parcel arrives:

  • Open it promptly and move the pens to the fridge.
  • Check that the pen strength matches your prescription.
  • Check the printed expiry date and read the leaflet.
  • Contact the pharmacy straight away if an item is faulty, damaged or wrong. Our policy is to tell us within 3 days.

A company that is serious about the cold chain will say so openly. Ask any provider how pens are packed and who delivers them. If the answers are vague, or if parcels arrive without temperature control, that tells you how the rest of the service is run.

Finally, think about practicalities such as who will be home. Next-day tracked delivery means you can plan around it, and the optional Saturday service can help if you work during the week. Payment is by Visa or Mastercard, Klarna or pay-monthly options, with no subscription to cancel.

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Start your free consultation

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
Which is the best online company for Mounjaro in the UK?
There is no official ranking, so judge any company on four things: GPhC registration you can check on the public register, a prescriber-reviewed consultation, genuine KwikPens from official supply, and ongoing reviews. EverydayMeds (GPhC 9012878) offers all four, with free consultation, official LillyDirect supply and monthly reviews. Compare dose against dose on price, because starting prices alone say little about what you will pay later.
How do I know an online Mounjaro pharmacy is legitimate?
Look the pharmacy up on the GPhC public register using its registration number. Ours is 9012878. A legitimate pharmacy will always require a consultation reviewed by a prescriber, because Mounjaro is prescription-only. Be cautious of anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription, of social media sellers, and of dramatic weight-loss claims. The MHRA publishes counterfeit alerts, and you can report problems through the Yellow Card scheme.
How much does Mounjaro cost online in the UK?
Across the UK pharmacies we track, a Mounjaro pen costs between £143.96 and £339.00 per month depending on dose and provider, checked 10 October 2026. At EverydayMeds the standard 2.5mg price is £169.99. A new customer's first order is £40 less with code FIRST40, and every later order is £25 off the standard price. See the live price table on our Mounjaro product page.
Do I need a prescription to buy Mounjaro online?
Yes. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, supplied only after an online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. With us the consultation is a short health questionnaire, free and with no obligation. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full. Any company offering to supply it without a consultation or prescription is not one to use.
Is Mounjaro available on the NHS?
Yes, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition. The NHS primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions. Full rollout is expected to take years, so many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment. Your GP can tell you where you stand.
Who is eligible for Mounjaro privately?
Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. A prescriber assesses your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding if it suits you.
How quickly will my Mounjaro arrive?
We offer free next-day tracked delivery with DPD, in discreet, temperature-controlled packaging. Orders placed by 3pm are dispatched the same day, once a prescriber has approved the consultation. Saturday delivery is available for £14.99. Needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance are included with every order. Our support team is available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, by email, portal chat or phone on 0333 207 0413.
Can I switch to EverydayMeds from another provider?
Yes. Complete the free consultation and tell the prescriber which strength you currently take. They will review it as part of your assessment. A new customer gets £40 off their first order at any dose with code FIRST40, including people switching at a higher dose, so a first 15mg order is £289.99. After that, every later order is £25 off the standard price.
How long does Mounjaro stay in your system after stopping?
Tirzepatide has a half-life of about five days, so after a final dose it takes roughly 4–5 weeks to clear the system. There is no way to speed this up, and nothing needs doing while it clears. If you plan to stop or pause treatment, tell your prescriber so your records are accurate and any later restart is reviewed properly. Contact our support team if you have questions.
What results do the trials show for Mounjaro?
In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone. These are trial averages and individual results vary. For someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg. Treatment works alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
