Consultation

Superintendent Pharmacist: M Zunaid Patel - M Pharm
Customer service was excellent. Emailed to say there was a problem with my order due to the delivery. This was in no way EveryMeds fault, but still organised for a full order to be sent again. Excellent company that I will be using in the future.
Very happy with this company and my order, best thing was actually being able to speak to someone in person about the process!

Patient agreement
Please read each statement and confirm you understand
before we continue.
Please read and confirm you understand the following before we continue:
- I understand that Priligy (dapoxetine) is taken only when needed, 1 to 3 hours before sex, and is not a daily medicine.
- I will never take more than one tablet in any 24-hour period.
- I understand Priligy can cause dizziness or fainting, especially within 3 hours of taking it. I will drink a glass of water with the tablet, avoid situations where fainting could cause injury, and sit or lie down if I feel lightheaded, dizzy, or sick.
- I will avoid alcohol when taking Priligy, as it increases the risk of dizziness, fainting, and injury.
- I will not use recreational drugs while taking Priligy.
- I will read the patient information leaflet supplied with my medication.
- I will contact EveryDayMeds and inform my GP if I experience side effects, start new medicines, or if my medical conditions change during treatment.
- I understand that if my mood becomes low or I have thoughts of harming myself while taking Priligy, I must stop taking it and seek medical help straight away.
- The treatment is solely for my own use.
- I have answered all questions accurately and truthfully. I understand that prescribers take my answers in good faith and base their prescribing decisions accordingly.
- I give permission for EveryDayMeds to access my NHS Summary Care Record (SCR) or request medical history from my GP if required.

Still have questions?
Priligy contains dapoxetine, a short-acting medicine that increases serotonin activity in the nervous system. This helps delay the ejaculation reflex and improve control. It is taken only when needed rather than every day, and it is not a cure — timing returns to your usual pattern on days you do not take it.
Take one tablet 1 to 3 hours before planned sex, swallowed whole with at least one full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food. Never take more than one tablet in any 24-hour period, and do not take it every day.
30mg is the recommended starting dose for everyone new to dapoxetine. The 60mg strength is only considered once 30mg has been tried on at least 4 occasions, tolerated without side effects, and has not worked well enough — 60mg usually gives only a small extra benefit but carries a higher risk of side effects.
Dizziness, headache and nausea are the most common. Less commonly men report diarrhoea, difficulty sleeping, tiredness, anxiety, blurred vision or a dry mouth. Feeling lightheaded or fainting usually happens within the first 3 hours — sit or lie down if this occurs and avoid standing up quickly. Stop and seek medical help straight away if you faint, have a seizure, or notice low mood or thoughts of harming yourself.
Yes. Your consultation is reviewed by a qualified independent prescriber, and our pharmacy team is available to support you throughout your treatment. We recommend a review after around 4 weeks or 6 doses.
