How to compare Pharmacy2U with other Mounjaro providers
Compare the total cost across the whole treatment, not only the first pen. Mounjaro doses step up, so the price at your maintenance dose matters more than the starter price.
Across the UK pharmacies we track, the cheapest and dearest Mounjaro pens run from £143.96 to £339.00, and the gap between providers for the same dose ranges from £27 to £41 (checked 10 October 2026).
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Price at each dose | Standard prices run from £169.99 at 2.5mg to £329.99 at 15mg per month |
| First-year cost | £2,711.88 if you settle at 5mg, up to £3,599.88 at 15mg, before discounts |
| Supply source | Genuine pens from a registered pharmacy |
| Aftercare | Monthly reviews and dose guidance |
| Delivery | Cold-chain packaging and clear dispatch times |
Those year figures are standard prices. A new customer's first order is £40 less, and every later order is £25 less.

If you are weighing up several pharmacies, our guide on switching your Mounjaro pharmacy covers the practical steps, and the Buy Mounjaro hub shows every dose.
04 · Who can use Mounjaro
Who can use Mounjaro
Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes.1 It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. A prescriber will assess your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding whether it is suitable.11
Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first (initially BMI 40+ with four or more qualifying conditions).46 Full rollout is expected to take years, which is why many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment.
05 · What to expect
What the trial evidence shows
Mounjaro is tirzepatide, a once-weekly injection that activates two gut-hormone receptors, GIP and GLP-1. Together these help regulate appetite, slow how quickly the stomach empties and improve the body's response to insulin.1 Most people feel fuller sooner and less hungry between meals.
In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people taking tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone.2 For someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg. These are trial averages and individual results vary.
06 · Avoiding fake sellers
Buying safely online
Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, so be wary of any seller offering to supply without a consultation or prescription. Check that a pharmacy appears on the GPhC register; ours is 9012878.12 The MHRA publishes counterfeit medicine alerts and runs the Yellow Card scheme for reporting suspected side effects.7 Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, so only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register.

07 · After you start
Support after your first pen
Our prescribing team provides ongoing monthly reviews, dose-titration and follow-up assessments, plus side-effect support. Repeat orders re-check suitability, and nothing ships automatically. Support runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, on 0333 207 0413 or support@everydaymeds.co.uk. The free GLPTrackr app helps you track your journey. For the early weeks, see week 2 of Mounjaro and month 2.
Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a prescription-only medicine, supplied only after an online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. Individual results vary. This page is information, not a substitute for medical advice.
How ordering works
How ordering works at EverydayMeds
Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.
Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes
Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.
Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day
A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.
Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery
Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.
Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.
Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.
