What the 7.5mg KwikPen costs and how to get it

One 7.5mg pen costs £279.99 at the standard price, which is about £70.00 per week. A new customer's first order is £40 less with code FIRST40, at any dose, including people switching to us at 7.5mg. The price shown is the price paid, and the consultation is free. Payment is by Visa/Mastercard, Klarna or pay-monthly options, with no subscription. Delivery is free, next-day, tracked and temperature-controlled, with same-day dispatch when you order by 3pm.

How ordering works

• Complete the free online consultation, a short health questionnaire with no obligation.
• A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews it. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
• Our registered pharmacy dispenses and ships your pen, with needles and a sharps bin included.

03 · Where 7.5mg fits

Where 7.5mg fits on the dose ladder

Everyone starts on 2.5mg weekly, and the dose moves to 5mg after at least 4 weeks. It then rises by 2.5mg at intervals of at least 4 weeks (7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg) up to a 15mg maximum, depending on response and tolerance.¹ Many people settle at 5mg, 10mg or 15mg, and higher is not automatically better. Your prescriber guides the pace.

In SURMOUNT-1 (2,539 adults), average loss at 72 weeks was 15% on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg, against 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone. Individual results vary.

04 · Using the pen

Using the KwikPen and its clicks

You set the dose by turning the knob until the correct dose shows in the window.

Inject under the skin once a week on the same day, at any time, with or without food. Use the stomach (at least 5cm from the belly button), the front of the thigh, or the back of the upper arm if someone else injects. Rotate sites.¹ For pen size, see Mounjaro pen dimensions.

05 · Storage and missed doses

Storage and missed doses

Keep pens in a fridge at 2–8°C and never freeze them. Once in use, a pen can be kept out of the fridge at a temperature not above 30°C for up to 30 days after first use, and must then be thrown away. Do not use a pen that has been above 30°C or has been frozen. Keep the cap on to protect it from light.¹³

If you miss a dose, take it within 4 days (96 hours) of the scheduled time. After that, skip it and take the next on your usual day. Never take two doses within 3 days of each other.¹ Be wary of any modified Mounjaro KwikPen; genuine pens come from official LillyDirect supply.

06 · Eligibility and NHS

Eligibility and NHS access

Mounjaro is licensed for adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or 27 to 30 with at least one weight-related condition, alongside a reduced-calorie diet and more activity. A prescriber assesses your BMI, history and medicines.¹

Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus a weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first.⁴ Many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment.
