01 · How to get it
The easiest way to get Mounjaro online
For most adults who meet the licensed criteria, a regulated online pharmacy is the most straightforward route. You do not need to book a GP appointment or argue your case; you answer questions about your health and a prescriber decides whether Mounjaro is suitable.
Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, so it is only supplied after a consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber. That is also the way to spot a safe seller: anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription is not operating legally.
- Free online consultation. A short health questionnaire, with no charge and no obligation. Start your free consultation.
- Prescriber review. A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews it, not a scoring script. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
- Dispensing and delivery. Our registered pharmacy dispenses it, with same-day dispatch when ordered by 3pm. Delivery is free, next-day, tracked and temperature-controlled. Saturday delivery is £14.99.
The Mounjaro pen starts at £169.99 for the 2.5mg starting dose, and all six doses are in stock. A new customer's first order at any dose is £40 off with code FIRST40, and every later order is £25 off the standard price (code DOSE25). The consultation is free and the price shown is the price paid.
02 · Compare routes
NHS or private: which is easier?
Mounjaro is available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus at least one weight-related condition. The primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first, initially BMI 40 or above with four or more qualifying conditions.46
| Factor | NHS route | Online private pharmacy |
|---|---|---|
| Starting point | Ask your GP; you must fall in a prioritised group | Free online consultation |
| Eligibility | BMI 35+ with a weight-related condition (phased, highest need first) | Licensed: BMI 30+, or 27 to 30 with a weight-related condition |
| Waiting | Rollout will take years | Prescriber review, then dispatch |
| Cost | NHS prescription charge may apply | Pen price paid by you; see the live prices |
If you are unsure which applies to you, you can ask your doctor about Mounjaro. Many people who meet the licensed criteria choose regulated private treatment rather than wait.4 See our guides on the quickest way to get Mounjaro and the safest way to get Mounjaro.
03 · Who can get it
Who is eligible for Mounjaro?
Mounjaro is licensed for weight management in adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition. Examples are high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes.1
It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity. A prescriber assesses your BMI, medical history and current medicines before deciding whether it is suitable. Repeat orders re-check suitability, and nothing ships automatically.1
Mounjaro comes as a pre-filled multi-dose KwikPen in six strengths: 2.5mg, 5mg, 7.5mg, 10mg, 12.5mg and 15mg. It is a once-weekly injection.1 Needles, a sharps bin and injection guidance are included with every order. Mounjaro must not be used during pregnancy, and it should be stopped at least one month before trying to conceive. If you become pregnant during treatment, stop the medicine and tell your prescriber promptly.
04 · What to expect
What to expect from treatment
Tirzepatide activates two gut-hormone receptors, GIP and GLP-1, which help regulate appetite and slow stomach emptying. Most people feel fuller sooner and less hungry between meals, which supports a reduced-calorie diet.1
In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people on tirzepatide alongside diet and exercise lost on average 15% of their body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, versus 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone. These are trial averages, and individual results vary.2 For someone starting at 100 kg, 20.9% is about 21 kg.
How quickly it works varies between people, so your prescriber reviews your progress as the dose is stepped up. Ongoing monthly reviews, dose titration and side-effect support are included.
05 · Avoiding fake pens
Avoiding counterfeit Mounjaro
Only buy from a pharmacy listed on the GPhC register, because counterfeit pens are a real risk. Be wary of any seller offering to supply without a consultation or prescription.7 You can check our registration, 9012878, on the GPhC register.12
We supply genuine KwikPens through official LillyDirect supply, sourced from Eli Lilly's UK distribution. If you notice a suspected fake or a side effect, report it through the Yellow Card scheme.19
06 · Cost and planning
Planning the cost
Treatment usually starts at 2.5mg and steps up. If you step up after 4 weeks on each dose, your first four pens (2.5mg to 10mg) cost £959.96 at standard prices. A new customer's first order is £40 less, and every later order £25 less.
A first year (13 pens) costs £2,711.88 if you settle at 5mg, up to £3,599.88 at 15mg. Payment is by Visa, Mastercard, Klarna or pay-monthly options, with no subscription lock-in. The free GLPTrackr app helps you log your journey.

How ordering works
How ordering works at EverydayMeds
Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.
Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes
Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.
Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day
A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.
Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery
Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.
Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.
Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.
