Can I Buy Tirzepatide in Mercury Drug? UK Guide (October 2026)

Mercury Drug is a Philippine pharmacy chain, so it is not a place to buy tirzepatide (Mounjaro) in the UK. UK buyers need a prescription from a GPhC-registered prescriber and supply from a registered UK pharmacy. At EverydayMeds, the 2.5mg starter pen has a standard price of £169.99 per month, and all doses are in stock. Prices checked 11 October 2026.

A quick overview

What to know
before you start.

  • Mercury Drug operates in the Philippines; it does not supply UK patients.
  • In the UK, Mounjaro is prescription-only and needs a clinical consultation.
  • Your first 2.5mg pen costs £129.99 with code FIRST40 (standard price £169.99).
  • Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, so only buy from a pharmacy on the GPhC register.
  • NHS access is being phased in over several years; private treatment is the alternative.
In this guide

01 · How to buy

How to buy tirzepatide in the UK

Buy it from a UK-registered pharmacy after a consultation. Mounjaro is a prescription-only medicine, supplied only after an online consultation reviewed by a GPhC-registered prescriber.1 A Philippine retail chain does not fit that route.

Our Mounjaro pen starts with the 2.5mg dose at £169.99 per month. New customers save £40 on their first order with code FIRST40, and an automatic £25 reorder discount applies to every future order (code DOSE25).

02 · Ordering

How ordering works

  • Complete the free online consultation, with no charge and no obligation.
  • A GPhC-registered prescriber reviews it. Payment is taken when you place the order; if the prescriber decides the treatment is not suitable, the order is refunded automatically in full.
  • We dispense and dispatch the same day if you order by 3pm, with free next-day tracked delivery in temperature-controlled packaging.

You can start your free consultation online. Our supply comes officially through LillyDirect, with genuine KwikPens in all six doses, and ongoing monthly reviews are included.

03 · Who can use it

Who can be prescribed Mounjaro

Mounjaro is licensed for adults with a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI between 27 and 30 with at least one weight-related condition such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obstructive sleep apnoea, cardiovascular disease, prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. It must be used alongside a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.1 A prescriber assesses your BMI, medical history and current medicines first.

Mounjaro is also available on the NHS, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus a weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first.46 See whether Mounjaro is available in the UK.

04 · Avoiding fake pens

Avoiding counterfeit pens

The MHRA has seized thousands of fake weight-loss pens in the UK and issued alerts after falsified Mounjaro pens were identified. Fake pens have caused hospitalisations, and some contained insulin rather than tirzepatide.7 Only buy from a pharmacy you can verify on the GPhC register, never from social media, beauty salons or unverified websites.12

A genuine pen has a batch number and expiry date, arrives cold-chain packaged, and holds a clear, colourless solution. Do not use one that looks cloudy, has particles, or has been frozen.13

05 · What it does

What tirzepatide is and how well it works

Tirzepatide is the active ingredient in Mounjaro, a once-weekly injection made by Eli Lilly. It activates both GIP and GLP-1 receptors, which helps regulate appetite and slows how quickly the stomach empties.1

In the SURMOUNT-1 trial of 2,539 adults, people lost on average 15% of body weight on 5mg, 19.5% on 10mg and 20.9% on 15mg over 72 weeks, compared with 3.1% with lifestyle changes alone. These are trial averages, and individual results vary.2 Which medicine suits you depends on your health profile, tolerance and prescriber advice.

How ordering works

How ordering works at EverydayMeds

Three steps, with our pharmacy team alongside you.

  1. EverydayMeds online consultation on a mobile phone

    Step 1: Online consultation — 5–10 minutes

Complete a confidential health questionnaire covering BMI, medical history and current medication. No payment is taken until you're approved.

  2. A clinician ready to review an online consultation

Step 2: Prescriber review — usually same day

A UK registered prescriber checks your suitability against the licensed criteria (BMI ≥30, or ≥27 with a weight-related condition) and contraindications, and confirms your starting dose.

  3. An EverydayMeds delivery box

    Step 3: Next-day tracked delivery

Dispensed by our GPhC-registered pharmacy in temperature-controlled packaging with needles and a sharps bin included. Orders approved by 3pm for next-day tracked delivery.

Prescription and dispatch follow clinical approval. Confirm current delivery options when ordering.

Afterwards you're not on your own: dose-change reviews are built in before each step up, our pharmacist team is available for side-effect questions, and repeat orders re-check suitability rather than auto-shipping.

Your questions, answered

Mounjaro price UK — frequently asked questions

Answers to common questions about Mounjaro prices, NHS access and ongoing treatment.

Ask our pharmacy team
Is Mounjaro available in Mercury Drug?
Mercury Drug is a pharmacy chain in the Philippines. UK patients cannot use it as a supply route. In the UK, Mounjaro is prescription-only and is supplied by registered pharmacies after a consultation with a GPhC-registered prescriber.
Can I buy tirzepatide without a prescription in the UK?
No. Tirzepatide is a prescription-only medicine, and genuine treatment always involves a prescription and a clinical consultation. Anyone offering to supply without a consultation or prescription should be avoided, because fake pens have caused hospitalisations.
Where can I buy Foundayo pills?
Foundayo (orforglipron) is a prescription-only tablet licensed in the UK, so it is supplied only after a prescriber confirms it is suitable. Ask a prescriber whether it suits you.
How much does Mounjaro cost in the UK?
At EverydayMeds, the standard price of the 2.5mg pen is £169.99 per month. Your first 2.5mg pen costs £129.99 with code FIRST40. Every later order is £25 off the standard price. Prices checked 11 October 2026.
Is Mounjaro available on the NHS?
Yes, but access is being phased in over several years. NICE recommends it for adults with a BMI of at least 35 plus a weight-related condition, and the primary-care rollout began in June 2025 with the highest-need groups first.
How do I know a Mounjaro pen is genuine?
A genuine pen comes from a registered pharmacy with a batch number and expiry date, arrives cold-chain packaged, and contains a clear, colourless solution. Check the pharmacy on the GPhC register and contact it before injecting if anything seems wrong.
