How does Voltarol Max Strength Pain Relief 12 Hour 2.32% Gel Work? Voltarol Max Strength Pain Relief 12 Hour Gel (2.32%) offers relief deep in the joint tissue to target pain and inflammation throughout the day. The gel brings relief from joint and rheumatic pain for long-lasting relief.
It is applied to the local site of your muscle or back pain. By applying the gel two times a day, a reservoir of diclofenac is formed to give the skin a reserve of active ingredients that can provide long-lasting all-day pain relief. It combines a gel and cream in one, which gives both a cooling and soothing effect when applied to the skin.
Gentle massaging when applying the product can also help create a soothing effect. The Voltarol gel works with Emulgel technology that helps make sure the gel penetrates deeply into the skin to enhance the delivery of the active ingredient, diclofenac, to the site of pain and swelling. Compared to tablets, it focuses more on the actual area causing pain.
