Scholl advance athlete's foot cream contains the active ingredient terbinafine hydrochloride, an antifungal medicine, to treat athlete's foot in adults and children aged 16 years and over.
Athlete's foot (tinea pedis) is a fungal infection that occurs only on the feet (usually both, but not always).
It is caused by a common fungus that grows easily in warm, moist conditions such as public showers at the gym and swimming pool changing rooms.
Athlete's foot appears as redness between the toes and an itching or burning sensation.
Left untreated, this may develop into cracked and flaking skin between the toes or on the soles of the feet.
