Description
Optrex bacterial conjunctivitis 1% w/w ointment contains an antibiotic called chloramphenicol to treat bacterial infections that affect the outer surface of the eye, the most common of which is acute bacterial conjunctivitis.
Symptoms of this type of infection include redness in the white part of your eye, red or swollen eyelids, sticky discharge that can make it difficult to open the eye in the morning and a feeling of grittiness or irritation of the affected eye(s).
Optrex bacterial conjunctivitis 1% w/w ointment is suitable for adults and children over 2 years.
