Description
Mintec capsules mintec capsules contain a naturally occurring oil extracted from the peppermint plant which is used to relieve the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (ibs).
They work by relaxing spasms in the muscle of the bowel wall and helping to restore normal bowel contractions, decreasing the trapping of air and other bowel contents and relieving abdominal bloating, wind, discomfort and pain.
Unlike some antispasmodic medications, mintec capsules act only on the muscles of the bowel and do not affect the rest of the body.
Mintec capsules are specially coated to allow them to pass through the stomach intact, delaying the release of the peppermint oil until it reaches the intestinal tract to effectively target the site of the pain.
