Hycosan Intense 0.2% Eye Drops – 7.5ml

Hycosan intense 0.2% eye drops provide intensive, instant relief from the discomfort of severe dry eye in adults and children from 6 years.

They intensively lubricate dry eyes and stabilise the tear film to relieve inflammatory symptoms such as itching and burning.

They contain two active ingredients that interact to provide intensive long lasting lubrication of the ocular surface and protect against evaporation of tears: hyaluronic acid : a substance found naturally in the eye that forms a regular, stable and long lasting, lubricating and moisturising film on the eye surface.

Hycosan intense contains a higher amount of hyaluronic acid which makes it more viscous.

This offers the eye with an intensive, soothing and long-lasting moisturising film.

Persistent or more severe symptoms are relieved, and the eye is protected against further irritation.

Ectoin : a natural substance formed by microorganisms to protect themselves from extreme environments (e.g.

Salt lakes).

Its specific properties are used in hycosan intense to increase the binding of water to the cells of the ocular surface to form a physiologic barrier on the conjunctiva.

It also stabilises the lipid layer of the tear film that protects against excessive evaporation of tears.

Hycosan intense 0.2% eye drops is phosphate and preservative free.

Each bottle contains approximately 225 drops and is suitable for long term treatment, although you should consult your ophthalmologist if your symptoms do not improve e.g.
