Calvive 1000 effervescent tablets formerly known as sandocal 1000 effervescent tablets calvive 1000 effervescent tablets are used to treat and prevent calcium deficiency.
They contain a rich source of calcium, an essential mineral that us necessary for bone formation and maintenance.
Calvive 1000 effervescent tablets may be used with other medicines, to prevent and treat a condition called osteoporosis (weakening of the bones).
They may also be used alongside with vitamin d3 for the treatment of rickets (softening of growing bones in children) and osteomalacia (softening of adults bones).
Calvive 1000 effervescent tablets are suitable for diabetics (1 effervescent tablet of 1000mg contains 0.002 carbohydrate units).
